Only carrier that I am aware of that works. Customer service stinks.

If I can get a call out at all I'm doing cartwheels. I consistantly get dropped calls and that's if I'm lucky enough to even dial out.

ALL carriers are awful in this neighborhood because its close to the airport. The reason they tell you on the plane to switch off your phone isn't because it messes up the navigation system, but because the cellphone carriers ask them too because it messes up the local towers to suddenly be tracking 100 phones searching for a connection at 150mph. Verizon is better than most in this neighborhood but still poor. Get some poor call quality and occasional dropped calls. But previously had AT&T (now Cingular) which was dreadful - could barely use the phone. If anyone has something which works in 90045 PLEASE put a note on here. Thanks.

Pretty much every call gets dropped after a few minutes. Sprint sucks, been living here for more than 2 years and it just gets worse and worse. I can't believe I've actually been paying for service for so long.

I see a review from 2003 talking about this being an "iffy" area for T-Mobile. Nothing's changed in over 3 years. Still an erratic, crapshoot, dropped call block. Inside the Wilshire Gallaria condos, T-Mobile is basically dead. There are tiny pockets of good reception, but you have to hunt around a lot. Maybe the condos are lined with anti-cellphone transmission coating. The further you get away from this block, the better the reception gets.

Drops calls every few minutes. With another phone is a little better, goes from 0-1 bars to 1-2. I noticed that if you don't hold the phone to ear it's better.

I have lived in this area for the last three years and cannot use my cell phone! It appears from the above comments that I am not alone. This is a densly populated area of Los Angeles and we should be able to get cellphone reception!

Insane. I just moved to this sublet and I get ZERO reception. Occasionally the phone rings when I get a call and if I try to pick up, the call immediately drops. I tried contacting Sprint about it, they said they'd check into the reception and I've not heard a word. It's going to cost me $300 to get out of my contract; it may be worth it. My cell phone is just a paperweight now and no one can get hold of me. Great. BTW, I came from Los Feliz (on Rowena) and service there wasn't much better.

Anyone else have this problem that started up last week? The # of reception bars on my phone is always good, but now during every call, the conversation blips out about every 10 seconds. Like someone's tapping a mute button. I can't complain of a dropped call because the call never disconnects, but I have to ask the person I'm talking with to repeat himself every few seconds, which is critically poor for business calls. Same thing happened a year ago, and Cingular had no solution, then problem went away on its own weeks later. Hope this clears up soon.
