Hmm I noticed everyone that talks bad about AT&T has a freaking iphone. Have they ever tried any other phone than the iphone?? Everyone knows the iphone is known for having bad reception. I had an iphone 4 on AT&T worse phone ever! Dropped calls here and there. Dumped it got an AT&T galaxy s2 and been to all those places people below me said they dropped calls on AT&T with there iphones. I went to brentwood, under the hollywood sign etc guess what?? No dropped calls! ! So its not AT&T service that sukz its ur freaking iphone get rid of it cuz what a coincidence that other phones on AT&T work fine!

I'm in Hollywood / Hancock park / Mid Wilshire area and now using T-Mobile. I had serious problems with Sprint three years ago in this area, so I switched to Verizon for the last two years. Reception with them was excellent, but my bills were HUGE! I have switched to T-Mobile and am blown away at how good reception is in this area - jus as good as Verizon. The 4g web connection is very, very fast and serves my new Android phone very well - I now do more browsing / emailing on my phone than my PC since voice recognition on the new Androids (2.2) means I no longer need to use the on-screen keyboard. This phone blows away the iPhone. Call quality is excellent - no dropped calls.

Great coverage. Works well in hills and great in sfv. Gets absolutely no service in Griffith Park but no one really does. Always have full bars and great service anywhere west of la brea. Always have service in hollywood hills only problem is sometimes don't get 3g in my house but still have 4 bars of 2g which is fine for calls but slow for data. Miles ahead of AT&T no comparison and better than Verizon in the hills.

Woo Hoo! Ported my number over from AT&T to Verizon Wireless and Best Buy gave me my Motorola Droid EARLY! I LOVE THIS PHONE! And know what's better? I can KEEP a call with out it dropping! Also, my data speeds are FAST! I am so happy to be gone from AT&T. I would really look into Verizon and the Motorola Droid or the Droid Eris by HTC. Sprint wasn't even this good when I had them before my iPhone 3G. THANK YOU VERIZON! You have a GREAT network!

Great reception. Great coverage all over the Miracle Mile and most of LA. Very few dead spots. Much better than the comments I hear about AT&T... especially the iPhone.

I get coverage in most areas. Though I have had a few dropped calls in certain areas when I'm inside, but is MUCH better than when I had an iphone with ATT, that was just a nightmare.

Very good reception with VZW. Virtual dead zone for Cingular / AT&T; their reception virtually cuts out on Glendale Blvd.once you cross San Fernando Rd heading SE.

I have had this Blackberry and T-Mobile for 3yrs+, and have never had issues getting a signal, except in a location in Inglewood / Culver City. I also have a land line in the house on the rare occasions I can not get a signal. Thanks for the info on AT&T, I won't get the Bold.

I had a Treo 700p and the reception was horrible. Couldn't talk on the phone in my home. Thought it was Verizon service, but switched to the BB Curve and now reception is great. I can even make and receive calls down in the garage where I couldn't before with the Treo. To the user with the 700p in Bel Air, switch your phone. It's not Verizon, it's the phone. My wife's LG would work perfectly when my Treo wouldn't.
