I get 1 or 2 bar inside, 3 if I find a good spot. But in most rooms I stay around 1. Sometimes I'll have none. It's not much better outside either. I've had a few drop calls when outside, more inside, and really bad reception. My friends with T-Mobile get much better reception than I do

Reception is excellent everywhere. Usually my friends with other phone companies have less bars wherever we are even in the mountains. When a call drops it is usually their carrier. But Verizon is pricy. I am trying Sprint for 5 days and the reception at Verizon is better. I am trying to decied between spending lots of money on the best reception with Verizon Or getting free nights at Sprint starting at 6pm. Verizon also has better customer service. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone at Sprint. And to cancel service at Sprint you have to call first.

Garfield High School Bad reception with Sprint unless you hold the phone over your shoulder with the antenna up like it says in the manual. Missed calls will not show up on the phone. Excellent reception with Verizon everywhere.

ATT is fine in the UCLA area- every once it awhile calls drop but not enough to be that big of a deal

AT&T sucks balls in the Century City area. If calls were dropped, that would be an improvement - half the time, there just is not enough coverage to even make a call! I'm so sick of seeing "No Service" on my iPhone... what the hell am I paying AT&T $100 / mo for again?

AT&T has horrible reception here. I can't get any calls and can't contact people. It's extremely annoying to go elsewhere just for reception. I'm switching once my contract ends.

Coverage is very spotty in this neighborhood. South of Wilshire and east of Westwood is bad. I see a note that says it's bad west of westwood as well. Verizon seems to have the best coverage in this area.

Reception fluctuates wildly between 0-5 bars. Calls frequently drop. Reception is generally poor. Clear weather marginally improves reception.
