Verizon is best by far in LA and Marina T-Mobile isnt bad either ATT is by far worst cell company wouldnt buy them unless u want to use your phone as a clock and calculator, My Verizon works perfect inside and out of Marina Harbor Apartments, I drive for living only dead zones I know in LA are Sepulvada tunnel skirball ctr drive and no service in Palisades Highlands (because they wont let T-Mobile Sprint or Verizon build towers here}.

dont waste your time on a Iphone unless you want to try and be like every one else and have the coolest electronic pocket device that cant do anything but maybe use a clock or calculator att is a horrible network there phones drop everywhere you go, on Verizon I can drive 50 plus miles on a conferrance call and almost never drop a call once get a droid its faster and best of all it you can make and receive calls on it good luck

Have been a Verizon (and their predecessor companies) customer since 1987. Daughter moved to Marina del Rey. Reception on Verizon is so bad as to be useless. The Verizon tech guy said "service in MDR and Culver City is not good." A very dense population of higher income customers and they provice no service? I don't get it.

Apartment at the end of Bora Bora Way with north-facing windows. We have two of the same phone, both using Verizon. One phone gets good signal always. The other phone sometimes cannot dial out or receive calls.

Verizon works perfectly here (I'm toward the end of Bora Bora). Never dropped a call. My neighbor has T-Mobile and has to walk out on their deck to make a call.
