In our home, I'm lucky if I get 2 bars. On rare occasions usually late at night, I might get three for a few seconds.

Ranges 2 to 4 bars, but I have never had a dropped call in two years with the iPhone in this area.

Reception is so so, but inside a building, good luck! Can you hear me now? NO! Can you hear me now? NO!

Excellent service with Verizon for the last couple of years!

No USABLE reception in my condo, no better outdoors on patio.

I frequently walk / run the area around the VA Hospital while streaming music to my iPhone. When ever I look at the phone, it shows full bars and the streaming music never fails.

HORRIBLE. Technical support has been abysmal. This company is awful to work with. They're crooks.

Lot of dropped calls and receptions so bad we have to go downtown Menlo Park to make a call.

Cingular service barely works in this neighborhood. It seems the whole of Menlo Park is a cell dead zone. Phones seem to work fine ANYWHERE else but around here.

Verizon Wireless the devil. On line, live and local service reps tried to be helpful but bottom line just shrugging shoulders indicating Cingular "owned" the area.

I drop about 5 calls per day. It's getting ridiculous. Do not choose Sprint in this area!

Verzizon reception on Sand Hill Rd is awful. 50% of calls are dropped or no reception at all. Going to try T-Mo and Cingular...

Extremely unreliable coverage. Frequent call drops. When call doesn't drop, reception is so spotty that you can't hear anything anyway. In addition, my phone often switches to analog when I am at home which drains the battery.

Terrible reception making the phone unusable at home. Phone doesn't even ring. Often receive voice mail messages hours or even days later when I leave to go somewhere that coverage exists. Verizon has agreed to let me out of my agreement -- they know they have a serious problem. What is surprising is lack of concern about solving the problem though. They are the biggest and have quickly become slow and sloppy despite their massive resources. Give growing problems in the industry, it looks like all of the carriers are taking advantage now.

Get reception great on Page Mill. Everywhere else questionable where I need it like on the Stanford Campus and at home.
