AT &T coverage sucks. No signal in or outside my apt most times. "Emergency Calls Only" pops up when zero bars. Rarely 2 bars avail. Coverage is horrible along south I-5, especially in the concrete canyons of San Clemente. No signal from north end of Camp Pendleton all the way to San Juan Capistrano. The AT&T coverage map for Mission Viejo is totally bogus... dead spots all over from Alicia and Trabuco area to Via Linda appartment / condo area to the Home Depot in MV. All zeeeero bars!

Dropped calls all the time. Reception is typically 0 or 1 Bar inside and 1 to 2 Bars outside.

I have Boost Mobile, but that exclusively uses the Sprint network. I get great reception here. I have never had a dropped call. Ever. 3g network (no idea if we have 4g here as my phone is not equipped to use 4g) works just fine. Never had an issue getting online or texting or emailing. I had an IPhone 4 with ATT, but at least 1 / 3 of calls dropped--even though at the end I got a micro tower in my house! My wife and I for fun would take turns making and losing calls next to the worthless tower--should have put it on YouTube! Bottom line, Sprint coverage here is perfect.

maybe a.5, sold a Blackberry told internet was $8.99 unlimited a month, went out of town next day for 5 weeks and came home and advised I had no internet. Told oh you need the special blackberry internet thats $30 a month. Im like no way thats not what I was told or sold.They wouldnt give me a different phone or let me out of my plan. My phone did not work at all in my home and dropped calls like crazy in the area. I told them all this and to at least cancel my internet since it did not work. I was a long long time customer and was grandfathered in 65 a month including taxes for 2 lines unlimited everything,early nights free weekends and cell to cell... ..When my contract was up I wanted out. I found out they had been the entire time charging me for internet. 8.99 times 24 is 216 dollars. I never looked at my bill I never could go over it was unlimited and I forgot it should have been 8.99 a month lower so its my fault even though they had record of my call and me canceling internet. All they did was give me 3 months refund. I ran from SPRINT to verrizon now my phone works in my house and in the 3 years I have had them never have I dropped a call,ever. Not in Mexico on a trip, not anywhere in so cal,Arizona,Utah,Washington State,even Canada no problem.My bill is double but my service is 5 times better,screw sprint.

Giving AT&T a 1 rating is a gift. I go through times of having absolutely no service whatsoever. Looking on the map, I see that the closest AT&T cell tower is literally 5 miles away in Lake Forest. I can't help but think that this also has something to do with AT&Ts issues with the City of Mission Viejo... We can't get their AT&T U-Verse Television or their High Speed Internet either.

Calls keep getting dropped. Called Verizon, stated known problem area, no plans to fix. Data seems to work fine, but a bit slow compared with other areas. At least this version of BB has wifi

I'm almost always dropping calls, and the receptions swings wildly between 0 and 3 bars. AT&T's reception is unforgivably bad.

Crappy service ! AT&T will not cancel my service. Dropped calls, cant make calls, I can only hear every other word when one does go thru.

Always very poor reception. Have to stand outside to even attempt a call.

1-2 bars all around my house at best. Upstairs in the back seems best but no guarantee of anything. Downstairs most calls disconnect at one time or another. Looking for a signal booster to see if that helps and have written Verizon for assitance and advise.

Everywhere In my house I get 5 bars at school I get 5 bars (saddleback) at work I get 5 bars (laguna hills) and everywhere inbetween I even get great reception up in down town LA when I vist a good friend who attends FIDM T-Mobile rocks

cant use the phone in the whole vicinity. in July they promised a new tower for Marguerite / Oso; but did not deliver on promise

despite many inquiries over months and months no correction has been taken. In July they promised a new tower will be installed on Marguerite and Oso in November. but it is not there yet

Cingular / AT&T EDGE network good, 3-4 bars pretty consistently. Rare to have dropped call

Since the ATT change over or maybe the new sim card that was sent my service is awful. I had great reception in my home now maybe one bar standing on one leg under a counter with my head tilted to the left. I loose connection just about everywhere in Mission Viejo and parts of Irvine. I would say 90% of my calls are dropped. I am hoping to find a carrier with better coverage in my area. I don't know if the towers in my area are used by all carriers? I have had the latest software upgrades on my phone so I don't know what is up. I don't recommend Cingular - besides when calling to complain they just say sorry they don't even offer a complementary credit adjustment in $$ or minutes.

Cingular used to give me decent signal quality in Mission Viejo, but since making me switch to a new sim card, I've noticed that their "upgraded" network is terrible now. I often drop calls within my home, and if I arrive home, I always drop the call the moment I drive into my driveway. I heard T-Mobile is using the network that Cingular used to use before the AT&T merger... so I'm going to try them next.

Very low reception for any Verizon phone on Felipe near Marguerite. The bottom of the hill is the worst (dropped calls all the time) and poor reception seems to extend up into the immediate hills inthe area where I live.

reception is very bad. The bar jump from 3 bars to no service back an forth. You are luck if you can make a call and stay on it.

T-Mobile seems to get pretty good reception in Mission Viejo. I get five bars everywhere in my house. The only problem spot seems to be the first floor of the Shops at Mission Viejo.
