1 maybe 2 bars at most if I sit in one specific area... but heard if you get a chip to put on your modem it will give you good reception... just gotta call the company and see if they will give it to you...

had sprint, AT&T and tmobile. All had pretty good reception, but tried 2 Verizon phones, both had either 1 or 0 bar...

AT&T works ok in most places around LA, but for some reason it has NO BAR in my apartment, or maybe 1 bar if I get super lucky. Not only cell phone, my GPS navigator doesn't have reception inside the apartment gate. Oddly enough, my roommate's T-Mobil phone has pretty good reception... I'm thinking about switching to Verizon now..

My family have 3 different phones with Tri-band or Qua-band. The result is they all have poor reception. Leave the phone on table it show 2-3 bars of signal, but when try to make or answer a call the bar drops to 0 and always got disconnect.

Poor reception in this part of Monterey Park, CA (91755)

In this area of Monterey Park I always tend to get garbled up calls in this area. Fulton Ave / Iris Way area and Graves Ave / Orange Ave area also get garbled calls. Verizon works fine everywhere else in SGV. I rate Verizon 9 / 10 in SGV overall but in Monterey Park where I mainly use my cell phone I'll have to give a 5 / 10

T-Mobile coverage for this area indicated that we would get service. I am disappointed to say the least that we can't get service 90% of the time. Will switch carrier if they don't get this improved when our contract expires. Monterey Highlands residents BEWARE!

I get absolutely no reception inside my house. It sucks, I even went to complain. I'm thinking about canceling my service with them and going with T-Mobile or Verizon instead.

Very bad reception and choppy voice. Sometimes dropped call or cannot make outgoing call.

Poor to No Reception. Phone / service is basically worthless. All outgoing calls can not be completed or dialed. All incomming calls are inaudible and dropped within 30 seconds. What is strange is this only started 2 months ago. Prior to that Cingular / Pacbell Wireless has been at least average to good for the past 5 years.

Verizon Wireless works pretty good in that area. Actually when I travel in San Gabriel valley, I always get good to perfect signal. Very satisfied.

When it's on AT&T signal I get one bar to no reception unable to recieve calls most times and I get many dropped calls... but I get alerts when I get voicemail. When I get Cingular reception, I usually get full bars but I have to power the phone off and on several times to get Cingular reception many times.

Very poor reception. I have not been able to finish any call since I moved to this area from WLA area. Often asked caller to call back on my home phone. I don't think I'll use cell phone after my contract ends. It's very disappointing reading all the comments about poor reception with all of these providers. Maybe everybody stop using their cell phones, the providers would be forced to do something or get out of the business.

Nextel sucks in this area. Be careful if thinking about their service.
