Some times there is little or no reception

I get my service through CREDO Mobile which, unfortunately, uses the Sprint network. The Napa Valley is in a Sprint hole.

just moved from Sonoma. Perfect reception in Sonoma. We get 0-1 bar in our new house... ..never had such poor reception in my life!

We've had Verizon for last 5 years and have only had a handful of calls dropped, usually going through a tunnel in SF Bay Area. Our AT&T sisters in SF Bay Area and Marin love their iphones but are always losing calls. A common complaint among iphone / AT&T users, as well as Sprint. Don't know anyone who has T-Mobile, Nextel or MetroPCS. Still see their commercials on tv, though...

For the last three months reception has gotten poorer and poorer. At this time 12:22 Friday Sept 10, 2010, the phone shows only 1 bar. Previously reception was 4 bars. Sometimes 5. Calls frequently drop off. Sometimes the voices get so garbled that converastion is impossible. ATT is dropping the ball as far as supporting existing customers in the Napa area.

Has to be the worst coverage I have ever had. Can hardly wait for my contract to expire to make a change.

Cell tower is less than 1 / 4 mile away and signal goes in and out. I've been a customer for 6 years and the signal gets worse and worse every year and the phones has less talk time than ever.

2 bars indoors, 3 sometimes outdoors, still reception is better than old Cingular... 2006. Love to go to iPhone but don't trust AT&T

Can't really use it reliably at the Silverado resort.

Varizon seems to work well most places I travel to in the area. But I only give it a 4 out of 5 since my calls always die if I have to stop at the intersection of Airport and Aviation where the Carl's Junior is at. If I am driving through the intersection then they usually just fade out for a second and reconnect fine.

Reception great on AT&T wireless but since joined Cingular network, terrible. Have a bluetooth car and bluetooth Motorola V551 phone now, not before. Is problem hands-free bluetooth or simply bad coverage? Not sure. Any suggestions?

AT&T TDMA service. Quality has gone down markedly since merger. No longer possible to use phone at this location, calls drop immediately when answered or made. Often no ring at all, just voicemail notification for calls that were missed.

I have had Cingular since june / july of 2002. The call quality has been great. The reception inside buildings has improved drastically after the merger, like going from no signal to at least 3 to a full 5 bars. The are still some buildings where the reception is a little weak, but hopefully that will change. My newest phone (Sony Ericsson z500) works the best inside buildings. I use this phone mostly in the Napa county, but it works good in the bay area, California too.

Great reception with Cingular, especially since they bought AT&T. The Motorola V3 is the best phone that I have used for reception. Cannot drop a call with it. I like this phone so much I bought the special edition black V3.

I can't wait for my contract to end. This is torture!

coverage is bad all over town. I believe it is cingulars crappy service not the phone. Customer service was very poor when I tried to upgrade the phone so now I am shopping for a new provider and a new phone.

Very poor reception-breaks up constantly. I returned the phone.

I have never seen such poor reception.
