Poor service always. AT&T drives me nuts, every time I try to make a call I have to go close to a window or the call drops because there are no bars. I am switching to Verizon if my work allows me to. I'm going to switch even tough my work pays for the service, rather pay than put up with this scam. AT&T why don't you give the people in this area a reason not to hate you, why instead if blowing $4B trying to buy T-Mobile don't you put up towers so that people have better service?

Calls drop every few minutes. Terrible service. Verizon and Sprint seem to work well here, but AT&T is useless.

I'm truly at a loss, called AT&T to get a "free" personal cell tower because since moving here two weeks ago my reception went From bad to gone! I have lOst clients, personal calls and fear I may even need to actually make an important call one day and just can't! They wanted An extra $20 per month to have the tower because there is no reason I should be experiencing any reception issues! What a JOKE! AT&T your pitiful!

Can't make phone calls inside, period. I drop at least 50% of calls regardless. It's terrible. Can't wait to switch to Verizon when the Iphone comes out. I never have more then two bars anywhere! It's a complete treat to have two bars.

Many many missed calls. It seems like the signal pulses from no bars to one bar. Cingular when here was much better. AT&T signal SUCKS

I have the BB and an LG Slide. Just moved to N.B. from south O.C. where I had minimal problems previously. Zero signal indoors, almost as bad outside until I get onto 17th street. Everyone thinks I've left the country - they can't get ahold of me and I can't get ahold of them. Thanks ATT :(

I can't get decent reception at home, school or work. It's worthless having a cell phone.

After AT&T bought Cingular forget it. They told me they are not allowed to put in anymore towers because of some restrictions in newport beach. BULL AT&T less bars less places. I could not be more disappointed with their service.

No reception at home, which is near Fashion Island, or at work which is near Hoag Hospital. Verizon worked great, but had to switch to ATT and am now locked into a 2 year contract. Avoid ATT in this area.

Cingular service in NB, and most of OC is awful. From Dover Shores all the way up Irvine Ave to JWA I get no service. 5 dead zones between here and RSM where I drive to work every day makes doing any business in the car impossible. My wife has Verizon and her service is fantastic!

The range of reception is from 0 to 1. The signal ceases altogether indoors. This level of signal strength has persisted for three years now (AT&T before the absorbtion by Cingular)

Sprint has great reception at Fashion Island! No problems making / receiving calls, messages, or using data anywhere in the area... indoors or outdoors. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Reception is reasonable sometimes and acceptable outdoors, but oftentimes indoors it is very minimal. Calls are typically not dropped, but I am often told that I'm not coming in clearly.

I love Verizon's coverage. I rarely loose a call unless I am speaking with some one who has AT&T. I thought of switching because I wanted an I-phone, but had bad experiences with AT&T in the past. So I settled for a Droid (the first model) which is okay. Can't wait for the I-phone through Verizon. Watch out AT&T!

Verizon is absolutely great in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, as it is almost everywhere else. I really want an iPhone but everyone I've talked to around here says, "The phones great, but the service is not", so I guess I'm stuck with my 3-year-old RAZR on Verizon for now.
