Verizon has always been expensive but good the 3g network was awesome. The 4g is horrible where I live. It freezes drops connection and is slower than 3g often I go to speedtest.net and it is slower than 3g certainly not 4g lightning. But the slow is not the torture. The torture is I gave up my 3g unlimited for this unreliable nightmare and they will not give it back even though they have sent me 4 replacement devices and 4 new sim cards. My device and 4g still does not work and I want out but the $175 termination looms. I am quite upset at this company I used to love.

Constant dropped calls. Start with 3 bars and then nothing. It will ring and connects but no conversation at all. More Fail the connection. Others in the house using At&T, T-Mobile and Boost Mobile have no problems.

Sprint is the only service provider that we know of that gets service at my house. We had Verizon for a couple of years and did not get service. My father has AT and T and he cannot get service when he's at my house.

After seeing all the comments I guess it is AT&T, not necessarily my phone. Most of my calls at home get dropped. No signal at Mission College in Sylmar, where the future consumers of America are learning. Learning that AT&T sucks. So many places, so few bars. I looked at the comments on Verizon, and they at least have some good ones mixed in with the bad (I think angry people are more likely to comment). For AT&T they are all bad. And so many more recent comments. Just waiting out my contract, then b-bye AT&T!

sprint service is poor

I have always had great reception anywhere and everywhere I've gone in the SFV. The only area I will not get perfect reception is north of Sesnon, but that's to be expected. I have plenty of friends who have different carriers and we all experience the same spotty coverage. It is not always FULL bars, but if I can make and receive calls as well as send and receive data extremely fast the amount of bars is completely irrelevant to me. I love Verizon and their coverage, would never switch to another carrier.

I have Verizon for many years but thinking of switching to T-Mobile if they have new tower inside community north of Rinaldi and west of Tampa near sesnon. do you know if the tower near the bridge is T-mobile? Bought a Booster / amplifier for 59 bucks by wi-ex zbooster yx300. attaches to outside window and wire into house with wireless connect to cell using bluetooth. Will let u know how it works. suppose to amplify 1 and 2 bar signals.

Service at the very north end of Tampa is very good. 200 yards away at my house no service to intermittend service. I realy sucks. Verizon ist just as bad.

Receptin at this location is from poor to no reception at all. When I switched from Verizon to AT&T, I was promised by AT&T sales office that reception would be at least 3 bars. ALL LIES.

In this area only Verizon and AT&T has services and Verizon has better service.

I am being generous in giving Sprint a 1. I have taken to using the land line when at home. Note also that it has become an eternal truth: that as the importance of the call increases, so too does the likelihood that once connected, Sprint's "service" will drop the call. I am considering switching to a service with free call forwarding so I don't have to rely on my cell phone when at home. Oh, how far we've come!

AT&T offers appalling service in this high per capita neighborhood. What an embarrassment trying to contact a client while leaving the office. My company and personal cell phone service will soon be replaced.

The reception on the corner of CSUN at Nordhoff and Zelzah is awful. The Monterey Hall building that I work in doesn't get reception at all. Arg.

The service has gotten worse. I used to be able to listen to a voice mail if I was upstairs facing out the north window. Now I just get the occasional "NEW VOICE MESSAGE" alert without the phone ever ringing. My contract on all 3 of my phones is up with AT&T so I'm switching to Sprint. Apparently AT&T doesn't want my $450.00 per month. Seems Sprint is the only service with any hope.

Have asked Verizon to aim antenna at our house, but, signal is intermittent at best. I feel Verizon should offer cell phone antenna / amplifier to area residents at cost.

I just purchased 2 new 3G i-phones and neither one can receive a call or can I make a call out! Also, the internet does not work either. It really sucks! No-one is interested in solving the problem either. There is no point in calling Apple or AT&T. I am planning to return them!

I hae two bars through out my house but I'll be lucky if I get one bar in my room which is upstairs on the west side of the house. I also lose complete reception when I am driving on Rinaldi from Wilbur to Reseda!

Sprint is the only cell phone service that works at my house. I have tried Att, Verizon, and T-mobile. All give me dropped calls. Sprint is the only service that consistenly works.
