Cingular is just terrible, no receiption AT ALL north of Ranaldi

The Home Owners Association has lobbied $650K and still no cell site FTW.

Normally, the reception here is OK. But when the winds pick up, Verizon seem to lose its antenna that services this area. Twice in several months I've lost reception for more than a week at a time. Customer service doesn't understand the problem and tries to blame it on my phone. The Verizon store in the mall confirmed that there is a problem which affects certain phone numbers in this area, but refused to help me out in any capacity at all. Verizon really needs to figure out how to fix its antennae.

reception always... very reliable only some parts of porter ranch have reception luckily, where I live, we do either 5 or 4 bars

I'd rate it between a 0 and 1. Live 3 blocks north of Rinaldi; 2 blocks west of Wilbur. No reception whatsoever. I take that back- I can get 1 bar to place a call until it dops- while standing ontop of by bathroom counter on the 2nd story. It really does suck.

Thank you, Cingular, for zero bars at my house. Your tv commercial about all of the bars in all places is just a big fat lie. I want to switch to Verizon, or anything better. When will these cell phone companies realize that there are no homes north of Rinaldi that cost less that 3 / 4 million $ and they need to give us better service???

I live in Porter Ranch and had horrible service with Verizon I moved over to Cingular and have full bars almost all the time. Service in the house is not as good as outside, but Verizon went dead in the house. Moved to Cingular, it helped me.

Unreliable service in the home. Bar ranges from 0-4 and changes frequently even within a 1 minute period sometimes. Calls are often dropped. During a 30 minute call, call will drop about 2-3 tmes, but what is worse is that calls are often missed completely. This is bad if you rely on you cell phone for business. This is with the antennae extended up. I'm considering switching the familiy plan to Cingular or Verizon, but have read that their service is not necessarily superior to Sprint's. What to do??

"The Parks" Community - No Reception Through out the complex. Also from Seson to Rinaldi and Porter Ranch to Reseda. I get 2 bars in the Porter Ranch shopping center but usually drops the call. Very Bad.

Absolutely no reception on Wilbur between Lassen and Devonshire.
