Just about no reception out here on the west end of Ignacio Boulevard. About 1 out of 10 calls will get through, but most drop within a few seconds.

Once you get west of Las Gallinas, there is nothing. In a rare case, you might get a bar or two, but only for a second.

have to move around to find a spot to use it. then when using it, you cant move or you will lose your call.

We lstart to lose reception on all 4 family cell phones as soon as we enter Southgate. OK and Hangar Avenue. Virtually no reception in house. One of the cells will occasionally ring but caller cannot hear us. My daughter's old boyfriend seemed to be able to receive calls and call out with a Sprint phone.

Very poor reception outside and often none in the house.

Great reception around Novato. Couple of times it has been handy to have analog mode when the digital network went down, I was one of the only ones able to place a call.

Whats up with Cingular. We need coverage in Southgate.

Verizon provides consistent hideous reception anywhere off the highway. Cingular phones get 5 bars. Will be switching soon.

Verizon has very poor signal outside my house and non inside. I would gladly switch carriers in I could find one with good reception from this location.

Verizon has no coverage in Novato from Laurelwood dr / Ignacio. Cingular is 5-bars in this area, so I'm switching carriers to Cingular.

Lots of hills / valleys here in Ignacio area. In February 2006 Cingular installed a cell tower near the Greek Orthodox church, and now I get 5 bars in my house and in all neighborhoods. Everywhere in Marin County, actually. Very pleased.

The reception in the house and outside is cuts in and out. The recepton is better down on Fairway Dr.

Pacheco Valley is a no-man's land for Cingular and Verizon unless you stand outside and lean towards teh freeway. Nextel has excellent coverage.

This phone works everywhere except my home. I can drive two miles east and it's fine. I can receive calls in the wooded hills of Santa Cruz. Just about anywhere but my home,where I really need it. Not inside,not outside on the street. My neighbor has Cingular and has perfect reception.

No reception using Cingular (old AT&T) TDMA at home on Corte Sur.

This area, Hamilton Field, used to be a total dead spot. Recently, 2005, now service is mostly usable, but still lousy and spotty. Same complaints from customers of all the other carriers. Must have been a new tower. In fact, I can see lots of equipment on the hill, but it must not be for us, as service should be way better. Still, there is a dead spot driving out of here. So if I started a call in the hangars, it would definitely drop by the time I got to the main road, Nave Lane. Argh. As it is, I'm always asking to call people back on a landline, as is the rest of my co-workers.

Don't bother with AT&T (GSM or TDMA). I just tried the newest Nokia phone for the day and am returning it tomorrow and cancelling my service after one day (however great phone anywhere else). Switching back to Verizon.

Generally outstanding service throughout Marin except at the coast. Customer service is easy to reach and very helpful. Had no reception in Yosemite but my wife's older tri-mode LG phone worked great on analog.
