I love Sprint. Everyone on base has Cingular and I had problems with them in the past. I receieved a $3,000 never paid bill from them while my husband was deployed to Iraq. Turns out when we turned off our service with them, they gave our numbers to someone else and kept billing us. Only we had moved and never got the bill. They sent us to a creditor and now my husband's credit is marked due to their error. However, Sprint is awesome. Works all over the base, even Rattlesnake Canyon where all of my friends on Cingular get cut out or dropped. Get great service inside all work buildings even at the range in the pits where everyone else gets nothing. Great customer service over the phone, however Oceanside customer service in store is terrible. Manager Grant over at the Sprint store off the 78 near Walmart has the worst customer service I have ever seen. He likes to lie to customers, walk away and talk about them loud enough so they can hear it, and then proceed to yell, curse, and fight with the customer once they confront him about his rudeness. I would still reccomend Sprint to anyone just don't buy from the store, go online or over the phone. They will not pressure you those ways since they are not making commission off of you.

On a good day I get a 1 bar. The two places I need reception, at home and work, the most, I get two bars. My work is 60 miles to the north. So, two different metro areas and the same lousy reception. But, in every other location, Riverside and San Diego proper, the reception is great. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I had been with Cingular and I get a decent signal at home and lousy at work with so-so reception everywhere else. But, I had a lot of dropped calls and horrible sound quality. You'd think Qualcomm would have a little self-respect and would make sure that at leat in their own corp HQs county their reception would be superior. I have even had lousy reception at their HQ believe it or not. They invented CDMA, goddamit! I guess too busy counting their money to worry about call coverage. Yeah, capitalism!
