dropped calls all the time, not only my phone, but any friends who cover who have ATT. The entire Old Town area of Orange is bad. Looking for a new carrier after putting up with ATT's bad coverage for past 10 years.

Do not purchase Metro PCS for this zipcode. Nice price, $34.00 per month for unlimited phone and text but no reception at all.

Only get one bar about 50% of the time. Half the calls are dropped off. Verizon seems to be good everywhere else I go, but unfortunately the place I need it most seems to have very poor reception. Just switched over from AT&T, which is worse. Thinking of trying Sprint. My friend has Sprint, and he seems to never have any problem when he comes to my house.

Hardly receive calls, texts don't go through, if I'm driving on the 405 and go under a bridge the call drops and the reception is terrible

This area is below and very close to a very large hill. Electrical power lines run the ridge of the hill and the electrical towers are also cell towers. However, this area at the base of the hill is the worst. Sometimes you get a decent signal (1 full bar) sometimes none. You often see people pulled over to the side of the road on their cell before starting up the hill because they are 99% certain the call will drop.

I cant believe I am on Top of a hill with no reception... . there needs to be a tower in between cannon and Meats going along Via Escola. I cant stand missing phone calls at my house... Come on!

Used to get good coverage in Old Towne Orange from Verizon... .better than ATT or TMobile... .unfortunately last few months have been bad on Verizon... .lots of uncompleted calls, lots of dropped calls. Thinking about switching back to ATT

I have Nextel. I put No Reception, but in actuality, I get one bar about 1 out of 15 outgoing calls (I miss a good 50% of my incoming calls at least), and very rarely do I get more than one bar. So basically No Reception. Since this website doesn't show people from my area, it looks like I'm going to have to play the hit or miss game with these carriers, utilizing the 30-day return policy. Can't trust any of the "coverage" maps.

Never drop calls from anywhere in the house. Reception and reliability are as good as a land line.

little to no reception inside apt bldg, had to go outside to make calls. Always get dropped from calls when on Westbound 22 Fwy connector from Southbound 55 Fwy. Always.

When I first signed up with Verizon in Nov'01, getting a call out or sending SMS text from my home was poor. Going outside the house was often necessary. Currently (Feb'06), I have four bars nearly all the time, no more dropped calls, and I can make all calls from inside my house.

extremely poor reception. I don't know about other companies in this area but Cingular is horrendous. 90% of the time there's no reception in the house and 10% the reception is very poor and you can barely hear anything. horrible, just horrible

Nextel has tons of dropped calls, I often cannot make outgoing calls on the first try, and the reception is very bad

This phone SUCKS!... .and maybe it can be the crappy SERVICE!... ugh I hate it soooooo much ima pay the cancelation fee ($175) and go getta T-Mobile sidekick2 or I also heard Verizon is really good... .. BOTTOM LINE: I HATE THIS PHONE AND AM CANCELING MY SERVICE!

The reception is poor to very poor in my house with calls getting dropped 80% of the time in the first 2 minutes. I cannot use my cell phone when I am at home.
