Good consistent service although my home is down in a gulch / valley area. The road is above me about 50 feet or more. Have been with them for 5 yrs different phone models and have not had any issues. ATT and Verizon do not work here. Nextel (although part of Sprint) does not work as they still do not share all towers.

On street, in house, coverage is fantastic. 3.5g for data downloads very often. Very few dropped calls. Best reception I've consistently ever had with AT&T in the Bay Area.

Most of the time my phone shows "No Service" while in the house and maybe 1 bar outside which usually drops calls. I added a booster to help the service in the house, but it really doesn't help much as I still don't have service more than 30 feet from the inside booster. I have called AT&T which is of little value as they say nothing can be done. It is very frustrating to be paying for monthly phone service and have such limited service at my home. I know that on the freeway service is fine, but once you are away from it the service falls off. I don't understand why AT&T can't put up some extra antennas!

The coverage is so sporadic in my neighborhood that it will often drop calls with 2 bars and no physical movement from me. Maybe AT&T would like to put a fake pine tree cell tower in my backyard...

Poor at best. Drops lots of calls, often gives message "Out of Service Area". Keep it for use away from home where generally it works fine.

Verizon's coverage is fine. I will probably drop my hard wire line. Cingular was pretty good, but I am happier with Verizon reception. Their prices are also the highest.

Cingular drops calls in the house more than 50% of the time. Reception vaires from no bars to 3 bars in the same location.

The coverage on ATT was bad but after the merger with Cinglular, coverage is much better and one carry on a conversation pretty much in and out of the house.

Spoke to Verizon Technical Service - the are aware that there is no service in the Glorietta area. A service ticket is open to improve service but they cannot give an estimate of how long it will take to get the coverage improved.

I switched from AT&T to Cingular. AT&T got me virtually no reception. Cingular lets me talk on the phone! Not perfect, but decent.

When will some carrier step it up and offer reception to Sleepy Hollow?

I think this is a black hole. I've never heard of anyone getting reception here. I'm not even roaming or on an extended network. No service, period.

On one side of my house (towards Rheem) I get great reception, but if I go into my room (towards Zander) I get next to nothing.

I recently bought AT&T's GSM network and I have had nothing but great service everywhere I have gone. Works in places my old Nextel phone wouldnt have even gotten a bar of service. And now becuase of their merge with Cingular, I have only not gotten service on BART, but besides that great service AT&T!

No reception on any AT&T phone I've ever used just east of the Caldecott Tunnel. Reception in just about all of Berkeley is horrendous as well, in contrast to Verizon.
