We live 5 miles out of Orland. Drops calls if you can get them at all. Calling is perfect inside of town (stare at the tower and it will receive). Much worse than Verizon where shouting "can you hear me now" helps.

Nextel works well in most areas of Nor Cal. Kind of all or none. My kids have sprint. Sprint sucks! How can this be considering Sprint owns nextel? For all of you dissatisfied with your carriers, file a complaint with the better business bureau. You can do it online. Its fast, easy and the best way consumers have to get some satisfaction. You may be able to get out of your contracts without an early termination fee. It also sends a message to the crappy companies that lied to us and got us to sign 2 year contracts.

Companies need to step up their data reception and speeds if they don't want to become the obsolete laughing stock of there customers and competition nationally, and globally.
