I have two bars of 3G at my home in Pacific Grove. I work at DLI and have no service on top of the hill with Tmobile.

May be able to call / send messages during a 2 hour window each day, usually after 5 pm, from many Pacific Grove locations. Pacific Grove is called the Last Home Town. T-mobile's lousy reception here proves it.

Verizon in the Asilomar part of town maybe 50 / 50 for making a call or incoming calls to ring. Is AT&T any better down here?

ATT coverage in Pacific Grove and Monterey seems good-to-very-good using my HTC Aria and my Wife's Samsung feature phone. On the Hwy. to Salinas, Hwy. 68, we sometimes have a weak signal, but in this area ATT seems pretty good for us.

We just moved the PG and gave up our old land line thinking that we could use our cells for phone service. Foolish us. AT&T cell service seriously sucks. Hardly ever any reception in or out of house. Constantly have calls dropped. Have heard that other cell providers are no better and am forced to subscribe to Comcast as an alternate. Loose-loose.

signal spotty at my house. It usually works but I get dropped often as the signal comes and goes depending on the weather I guess. No idea why. I am not entirely dissatisfied however. It works most of the time.

Fairly good signal with a RAZR near the point in Pacific Grove. Tried my other HTC phone and was consistently dropping calls. The signal is fairly weak on the point anyway, so I would recommend a good phone. So far AT&T seems to be the best in this area after talking to neighbors and co-workers.

I live in an apartment complex on Grove Acre Ave near Lighthouse Ave. The cell phone reception(Verizon) is next to none. Walking around outside the complex doesn't help either. I'm tired of paying for service for my wife and I that Verizon can't provide.

Lots of bars indicated on phone, but reception is so-so here. Downtown Monterey: good-very good, Fort Ord: fair, Seaside: good, Marina: fair, Carmel: fair, Big Sur: (goes analog) fair, Salinas: good. Sound quality fair, but always has contact
