Still no reception or horrible reception at best in this area. This is UNACCEPTABLE AT&T! There are a lot of visitors who come to the Palm Desert / Palm Springs area (for business and for pleasure) and this makes my stay unbearable! This sucks!

AWFUL! Service has always been spotty. had to move around the house to find the best signal. around Feb 1, nothing. need to go to Portola or the Desert Zoo to make a call. they said a tower was down but is now fixed... .. right, So much for those ads.

No signal about 65% of the time one bar the rest and calls are dropped. ATT apparently lost a lease on a tower nearby and have not been able to make it up. Even the rep at the ATT store said she loses calls whenever she drove near my house.

Max of 2 bars outdoors, zero to 1 bar indoors. Usually cannot complete talk for more than a few minutes before the call is dropped if indoors. Sometimes, can't make a call period. Horrible!

Forget about making calls indoors, not going to happen. Outside, reception is "iffy" at best. Switching to Verison.

In home reception non existent. Outdoor offers 2 cells max. Terrible drops. Cingular indifference intolerable.

Sprint has a dead zone in this area. They are letting me out of my contract after 2months because of this. To bad because they have the most reasonable plan. The coverage has been terrible and drops all the time even in town.

Reception rating is for in home (Sandpiper) location. Used off road with good results but some blank spots in the mountains. Service includes free roaming and LD.

I get a lot of complaints from people calling me or me calling people that there is a lot of static and it is difficult to hear me. However, I can usually hear them fine. I would say 1 out of 10 calls are dropped.
