Drops calls and service daily, no service in parts of home, downloads takes 15 minutes if I'm lucky, calls cut in and out so it's difficult to have a phone conversation. I called Verizon last year and was told a new tower was coming soon. Sure wish that would happen soon.

I will say I have an older model of an LG phone however the phone is still updated with the latest software. My messages are delayed when sending and receiving. For instance, I was sent a message last night at 3a but didn't receive it until almost 24 hrs later. Many of times, my messages don't go through especially photos. The reception is very spotty unless I'm in my bedroom. This is all problematic. I'm going to try requesting a cellspot.

Cannot keep a signal more than 5 minutes at home and many other places in Palm Springs area. I have a Samsung Galaxy which operates fine at my second home (Orange County). From reading reviews it just looks like there is no good carrier in the Palm Springs area.

For years had the worse reception with ATT and a customer for 18 years. Last year ATT provided me a micro-cell antennae which I plug into my wifi router... VOILA! 4 to 5 bars all the time, reception and quality has improved 100%. I was informed about these from the ATT store as the Customer Service people won't tell you about them... they sell them, but if you insist on them providing one because of thebad quality of service in your area,. they will send you one free

We have a 2nd home in Palm Springs. I can make inside calls except the caller can never hear me. My phone rarely rings when I'm in the house so most calls go to voicemail. Outside, I have one additional bar so calls from there can be hit and miss at best. We have complained to AT&T without any resolution. Since we are only here a few months per year, we only have our cell phones. The service really sucks. At our home in Alaska we get great service. When Verizon moves into our Alaska area - good bye AT&T!

Four years always have at least 4 bars or more, never a complete outage. The local T-Mobile store is always helpful when I had questions or shopping.

Extremely poor reception from ATT and abysmal, incompetent customer service. Their solution is to install wifi and buy a box called a Microcell. Unfortunately, this device only has a 35 foot radius and does not work with iPhones.
