Pretty good reception on Hawthorne and Granvia Altamira. However, once by Coronel Plaza everything is terrible. Definitely a dead zone.

I'v had T-Mobile now for over 6 yrs and normally I have great reception. Since, moving to the Palos Vedes I have little to no receptions. There is one zone the size of 12 x 12 inches where I sometimes get reception.

0-1 bar in front of house. "Searching" in back of house. No consistent reception heading east until Montemalaga Drive. There it is okay then signal drops out at Silver Spur and doesn't resume until PV Dr.North heading to Hawthorne.

i have boostmobile and get excellent service. my girlfriend has T-Mobile and everytime she comes to visit she loses service

Sprint seems to be the best overall on the hill, which isn't saying much. Predictable dead spots are RH Rd and Crenshaw, as well as Miraleste Intermediate School and PV Dr.East a bit south of PVD North. Oh, and my house in Empty Saddle is dead 80% of the time. Virgin Mobile uses the Sprint network so is the same. Rancho Vista Elem used to have good reception but lately it's roaming most of the time. If anyone gets reliable reception at Miraleste Intermed School I'd love to know.

Inconsistent reception ranging from 0 to 5 bars. Takes a long time to get 2 bars. AT&T said they had a tower outage on 8 / 1 / 09. No relief after a few hours.

0-1 As far as reception is concerned. Extremely poor. On the Samsung Sway the dropped calls are nearly every call. The Motorola V710 keeps calls more often but there are some sweet spots in the house that are somewhat better. Verizon's service has been absolutely terrible.

Can get occasional reception from the edge of my back deck. Virtually no reception in the house.

Calls go through sometimes, but not usually. The phone will ring but I cannot answer the call because it drops. I can call from outside sometimes, though.

I live.5 mile from Kingspine and Silver Spur. When I move here 2 years ago I had T-Mobile and I could not get any reception. I eventually switched to Verizon. I get reception at my house no problem. I am going to renew for another 2 year. I do not get any reception at the S / S elemantary school parking lot though. Hope this helps.

Very poor service up on the hill. I can get reception for most of hawthorne coming up from PCH until I hit highridge on hawthorne, then it goes dead. I can also get reception right outside my garage, but that is it, none in my house. If anyone has any idea what works in PV I would appreciate some insight.

Several years ago Sprint was the only co. that I received service from and it was crystal clear. Now it is very spotty. Others with other companies are worse. There is NO reception from Crenshaw Blvd / RH Rd to PCH. Call just drop instantly when passing this intersection.

Reception outside of the house is okay most of the time. Inside the house there are area which have fair reception some parts that never have reception. My Family also use Sprint and can talk on the phone but quality of the conversation is sketchy at times. Verizon / tmobile / nothing else works to my knowledge... we are basically in the dead zone.

My Treo gets total coverage while the Samsung is very spotty. Certain locations in the house get zero reception on the Samsung.

No reception at home (near Chadwick school)

I get no reception at my home. I have to get to Peninsula center or down to PVDN to make a call.

Absolutely no reception, sporadically will show 5 bars, but then you're unable to call or check voicemail. Is there any carrier that works in PV??
