I have had perfect service for 6 months. Suddenly, for the last three days I cant stay online or hear calls. A large amount of calls are dropped completely. Off and on all day, the signal hovers around -120, and it was usually around -98 before. WTH? Does anyone know what could cause this? I have to renew service tomorrow. Is it the service or my phone? Help... ...

Has always been sub-par here in most of Paradise, agree with previous remarks. And I have heard the same thing about ATT not wanting to pay the tower charges. My time with ATT comes to an end after many of years.

Horrible reception. Have to go to special places in order to make calls. Usually outside.

We had very good reception anywhere in our home and yard for over a year, which is downhill from Skyway, until I was recently asked to replace my SIM card. Immediately went from 4 bars to virtually 0. Thought it might have to do with the age of my phone, (about 18 months). My wife's reception continued to be good. When she reluctantly had her SIM replaced after repeated harassment, her reception dropped off as well. Cingular claims this loss of service has no connection to the SIM replacement. However, I have been told by someone in the business that it could be the result of the new card locking us into Cingular only towers because they no longer wish to pay reciprocal fees to whoever's tower we were pulling reception from previously. They will not tell me who's tower that might have been. As a result we are searching for another provider as it is worthless to have phones that don't work here, where 90% of my personal calls, and 100% of my business calls are made from.

Started family plan with cingular. I figured I could talk to my wife for free, and she could use minutes to call her son in Navy. Well, the reception is very poor in house. One bar. I am returning phones and checking out Verizon.
