Entirely garbled 50% of the time

Barely passable in the house, somewhat better outside. I find the network very unreliable in general

my connection always drops when I drive home and in my house I get no reception whatsoever.. And none of my friends do either in the house, but my roomate with Verizon gets fine reception... I hate cingular

Usually I get great reception, but occasionally I am unable to make a call. Occasionally there is a delay receiving text messages and voice mails.

Always 8-6 bars. My phone has a maximum of 8 bars.

Usually about 4-5 bars always.

I can get all of the bars if I use my intenna. Sometimes I dont, but its really good service.

When I had this phone before the merger the A T and T service was much better than since they merged with Cingular. On the same call, without moving the location the bars go from 4 to one in an instant. They told me to try a GSM phone and the service would be better - it was not. However, when I took the phone to Chicago and Southern California it worked flawlessly. They then told me I have to rest my phone several times a day so that the system know I am there. Didn't make any difference. If you live in Northern California stay away from A T and T / Cingular until they get their act together. I am only stuck with them 'till August 10 thank goodness.

Inside nothing. Outside intermittent, but generally 2 or fewer bars.

Inside the house: 1-2 bars average. Voice quality is OK. No missed calls. Outside the house: 2-3 bards. call auality is better. Dead Zone: I found there is dead zone near the McDowell Elementary school.

We upgraded to GSM from TDMA and we're sorry we did. Every place we had signal with out TDMA we don't with the GSM! I hope it get's better or else we are going to go some place else for our carrier.

I have been very dissatisfied with T-Mobile's horrible recepion in my area. In my house, which is near the outskirts, I'm very lucky if my phone will ring, and notify me of voicemail. In parts of the house, I'll get 1 out of 6 bars of reception, and that's usually me best, 2 at the most. However, downltown is a lot better, 4 or 5 or 6 bars. But the point is they sold me the plan without even checking because I called them and they said I'd be lucky to get any reception where I am. But they didn't check that when I ordered the plan and phone.

works well at home in places the tdma system would not cover after at&t stopped paying for cell-one site usage. No more dropped calls, call clarity improved, no connection issues, no missed calls. Travel a lot to S.L.O. works average there-- still way better than the tdma service there.
