Reception is best in Southern Placentia, but overall the city is well covered because of CSUF tower.

I have a Samsung a737 and I usually get 3 or 4 bars of reception in my room. but in the backyard and back rooms you get bad reception. overall the reception is good.

inconsistent operation. Shows 3 bars but won't connect to network. Drops calls. Sometimes calls take over 15 seconds to connect even though its shows 3 bars.

drops calls, won't connect to data service, sometimes shows 3 bars but when power cycled it comes up with no service. Also seems to restrict data transmission. ATT website always works, others won't connect.

AT&T's coverage map says that my area should have perfect reception, but that's not true even if I go outside! Reception fluctuates so badly that I can have 3 bars one moment and a x (no reception at all) the next! I can't even get texts out most times an if I want to have a private conversation, I have to sit in my car to do it! Why on earth are there 0 cell towers just west of Fullerton?!

I have a sidekick II and I only get minimal reception on the 2nd floor of my house, never downstairs. 90% of the time the call will go through for 1 min before it drops and I would have to dial again. Internet on my sidekick also is poor due to the awful coverage. My friends with T-Mobile cannot get reception in my house either. I had Verizon before and I would get great reception downstairs even. I deffinitely wouldn't reccomend T-Mobile if you life around kreamer / chapman area of Placentia.

I am in california, and I have no signal most of the time with cingular. I can't wait til my contract is up or maybe I won't..the idea with the high fee is to keep you trapped. I may be trapped so to counter that, I am letting anyone know that I can find, so maybe I cost them for the fee they are charging me... A sign is in my car window as well..buyer beware!

I usually have decent reception, but today I have been getting a "No Signal" message and no reception. Sometimes I show up to 5 bars, but I still cannot make or receive calls. I also show 3G, but cannot connect to the Internet unless I use my home WiFi signal.

I cannot get reception at my house on the first floor. However, I can get good reception on second floor. South facing room gives the best reception. It does not really matter what is the phone model. My guests cannot get reception at my house with diffrent T-Mobile phone model. Other than the first floor of my house, I can get very good reception with T-Mobile everywhere else in USA.
