Zero bars is the norm inside and out at this location. Sometimes 3 bars show up, just long enough to temp me into making a call, which promptly drops out.

Mea Culpa AT&T In a previous message I reported dropped calls. Those happened mainly during my long conversations when calling overseas. I found out that the problems were due to the overseas faulty phone. Now that my mother has replaced her phone the line is perfectly clear and the reception is optimale. It was an unfortunate coincidence that the phone started to go bad when AT&T took over. A satisfied customer.

I used to have perfect reception with Cingular, now with ATT my reception is terrible even if the # of bars is high the reception fluctuates during a call. My overseas calls used to be pristine now they are full of statics and drop every 4 minutes or so. I called AT&T and it seems they have usage of less towers than Cingular used to have. I tried with different phone and even changed my sim card but the problem is AT&T.

I tried 4 different kinds of phones and the reception never gets better than 2 or 3 bars. Cellp honesa re basically unusable up here.

Perfect reception at home and a weaker reception- but still serviceable going up on Westridge. I am very pleased. Note that quality of reception depends both on the carrier and the phone. I used to have a fancier Motorola and during that time I had poor reception at home and none on Westridge, with called dropped all the time. That situation changed the day I switched to the Nokia.

Reception goes from 1 bar to none. Reception lost soon after turning off of Alpine.
