	Cingular has done a great job overall when it comes to providing service in just about all of the rural area in, around and surrounding Ramona. If you have a phone of reasonable quality (i.e. Nokia, Motorola), you'll have no problems in the area.

	I have almost never had a problem with Verizon. The calls are clear. Even in some locations like Wildcat Canyon Rd.I can still make / receive a phone call without too much of a problem - sure, sometimes I'll get "lucky" and the call drops - but not often enough to irk me. At home I get 3-4 bars, but I live on a hill. The lower parts of the property I probably get no less than 1 bar (average 2 and 3 max). The decrease in signal has still not affected my reception of phone calls or text messages.

	poor reception in our home, and overall. hard to have any conversation without being dropped or fading in and out. works better in town.

	Switched to Verizon from AT&T for better reception. Both phones receive 1 bar, but I receive email on my blackberry on the Verizon phone. AT&T was hit or miss, depending on where I was in my home. Hoping one of the big carries drop a tower out here. I would like to kill my home phone.
