Virtually every call is dropped or garbled in home. Outdoors is iffy at best.

ATT's television ads are a fraud. They claim you can get signal anywhere--even on an isolated beach. Howver, the truth is that there is no usable data reception in Rancho Mirage, CA which is in the middle of a metro area of 500,000 people. Not only does 3G not work but neither will EDGE (2G). I feel cheated to have bought a Blackberry Bold and cannot get old, obsolete ATT system to get a signal to me on the Bold and certainly nothing on my $60 / month Air Card. I switched from Verizon air card because their service was poor, but ATT's is non-existant in the geographic center of the city.
