2-3 bars in 4G LTE coverage indoors and 3-4 bars when changes to 3G mode. No dropped calls and so far able to use phone 100% of the time.

Sprint fixed this notorious digital dead zone about 6+ months ago.

Monero street has pretty good reception, but it's a 10 minute run from my house to there. My house = 0 bars; Monero = 4 bars Throughout PV, T-Mobile's reception is really spotty and for the most part horrible, so I really look forward to switching to Sprint

Absolutely GREAT! I had Verizon before, and Spring blows Verizon out of the water. Seriously, if you live near Peninsula high school, get Sprint. I can actually call and text now, which I never did with Verizon!

i can go from no signal to 4 bars in the same room. Overall, though, reception ranges from no signal to two bars. it improves when I get off the hill, but all throughout the peninsula reception is really spotty.

Have not had Verizon reception in my home since I signed up for Verizon in 1998. No improvement.

Verizon signal (on PagePlus) is strong inside the east end of the house, in the yard, and in the street. Wow I can actually use my cellphone at home, get and send texts... it's far better than both Sprint and AT&T! Away from home, Verizon works almost everywhere.

Only get one or two bars reception at irregular times. Sometimes no reception at all. All neighbors on Flambeau Rd.have the same reception problems. When actually connected to incoming call, most of the time the call drops out in one minute or less. The cell phone is useless for outgoing calls from my home or anywhere on the street. The cell phone will connect long enough to sometimes download a short text message. The cell phone will not work or have reception until I drive down Hawthorne BLVD and get at the vicinity of the Peninsula shopping center (intersection with Silver Spur Road).

most of the time my phone reads 'no service' and I get my text messages an hour late..the whole way Nextel works is a pain, just getting ur text and phone messages takes way to long,the way Nextel has to dial out to another number to get my messages..and it takes Nextel 2minutes plus to download the incoming text messages..the worst part about this is that the jerk at the Sprint store told me the coverage in palos verdes was good to excellent..nextel get an all around POOR vote from me.

Varies from five to nothing all over the East side of the hill. Reception goes from nothing in driveway to four bars inside the house, in certain places.

We have Verizon and cannot get reception inside our house, and rarely outside. After much arguing, we finally found a receptive Customer Service person who is letting us out of our contract. What a monopoly.

T-mobile has horrible reception up here and on the hill and in my home. Complained several times but they say they will look into the problem. Still nothing. I need to get out my contract.

I have the Helio / Sprint service phone for about 2 years and it works great anywhere in the hills. Used to be a faithful Verizon customer before I moved to Palos Verdes. No carrier other than Sprint / Helio works in this city.

We live in the development behind Green Hills. My phone does not work in the house and is very poor immediately surrounding my house. Does anyone in this area have decent reception and with who?

Been very disappointed with ATT's coverage in Rancho Palos Verdes. I get no coverage at home but sometimes I get 1 bar which is just as bad if you start a call.

Indoors, reception can vary from full 5 bars sweeping to 1 or 2 sometime none. But this new phone definitely is much better than my previous Samsung A680 because it is usable. I also have the free roaming feature to test out the Verizon service and Sprint seems to have a stronger signal most of the time in PV.

Verizon has been great for us until we moved to Rancho Palos verdes. We have no coverage in our home. The signal fluctuates. It is impossible to use our cell phones from the area. We will be switching carriers to correct the problem.

ATT bad all around this area and when it is momentarily good, wait a second and it'll drop you. Not good at all until you get off the Hill
