2-3 bars in 4G LTE coverage indoors and 3-4 bars when changes to 3G mode. No dropped calls and so far able to use phone 100% of the time.

Have not had Verizon reception in my home since I signed up for Verizon in 1998. No improvement.

Verizon signal (on PagePlus) is strong inside the east end of the house, in the yard, and in the street. Wow I can actually use my cellphone at home, get and send texts... it's far better than both Sprint and AT&T! Away from home, Verizon works almost everywhere.

Only get one or two bars reception at irregular times. Sometimes no reception at all. All neighbors on Flambeau Rd.have the same reception problems. When actually connected to incoming call, most of the time the call drops out in one minute or less. The cell phone is useless for outgoing calls from my home or anywhere on the street. The cell phone will connect long enough to sometimes download a short text message. The cell phone will not work or have reception until I drive down Hawthorne BLVD and get at the vicinity of the Peninsula shopping center (intersection with Silver Spur Road).

We have Verizon and cannot get reception inside our house, and rarely outside. After much arguing, we finally found a receptive Customer Service person who is letting us out of our contract. What a monopoly.

We live in the development behind Green Hills. My phone does not work in the house and is very poor immediately surrounding my house. Does anyone in this area have decent reception and with who?

Verizon has been great for us until we moved to Rancho Palos verdes. We have no coverage in our home. The signal fluctuates. It is impossible to use our cell phones from the area. We will be switching carriers to correct the problem.

My business phone. No reception indoors. Some phone reception outside in certain spots. No broadband service at all. Had AT&T (Cingular) before and it was worse... no reception at all anywhere this (west) side of the hill.

No reception in the house (off Silver Arrow across from Peninsula Center)! No wonder everyone is on their phones when they drive - it is the only time to retrieve voice mail. Three blocks away at Go Wireless / Verizon store, 5 bars. Go figure. Anyone have luck with any other carrier? Anyone try Voce?

Usually just turn off phone at home in this area. Reception is ridiculously bad. I will switch to Cingular this week to try.

Verizon is very reliable in most of the South Bay. There are some dead spots in PV, which I find very annoying. The two locations are (1) Hawthorne Blvd. between Granvia Altamira and Indian Peak Rd (near Peninsula Center) and (2) Crenshaw Blvd. right where it ends at the intersection with Crest Rd. Other than that, it's been totally fine--including El Segundo where I work near LAX. There are some weak spots there, too, but nothing major. From what I read from everyone else's comments, Verizon seems to be one of the best!

When we were with AT&T, the signal was non-existent. With Verizon, it's excellent. Signal drops going through the slide area to San Pedro, and around the Pt. Vicente Lighthouse, but otherwise very good.

Service unusable at house and neighborhood. No reception from here where I live all the way on Hawthorne to Silver spurr. Get 4-5 bars at silver spur all of a sudden. Friends with Sprint are fine. Friends with T-Mobile are so-so. Never expected such poor service and huge dead zone. I will change carriers at end of contract.

Very spotty. Not worth trying. No good coverage until you get down the hill into San Pedro or Torrance.

Reception stops on Crestridge between Crenshaw and Highridge in Rancho Palos Verdes

Verizon is ok near Peninsula shopping plaza but poor on Lunada Bay side of Hill and various pockets in PVE. Works poorly at my house. My wife has Sprint and it is much better. I previously had ATT and it was very bad.
