I have awesome reception everywhere I go. I also work in downtown Los Angeles and have full reception. I used to have Cingular and had so many dropped calls and weak reception. I'm so glad I went to Verizon two years ago. I'm also due for a free phone upgrade, so I'm looking forward to staying with my LG phone and getting the LG VX7000.

Even though most carriers work well while driving around town, Verizon Wireless by far works the best indoors. I recently had an itch to try Sprint and the phone worked all the way until I stepped foot into my house. You bet I cancelled Sprint immediately. Cingular works horrible inside my house too. Verizon Wireless so far has been worth every cent. My job depends on having a reliable communication device during all business hours and Verizon Wireless has served my business needs exceptionally. 95% of mobile phones you see people talking on around here are Verizon Wireless phones. I wonder why?

For the most part reception with Verizon is solid. I haven't seen an instance where reception is below average. However, the phones I use tend to get excellent reception as many of them are not standard Verizon phones.
