no reception here at LP

I guess I fell under the same theory that Cingular offered great service here in Red Bluff. Unfortunately it doesn't. However, I have found that using the Razor phone in comparison to my other LG phone does help. They should still stand by their commitment of providing service with few dropped calls.

Cingular claims they have americas network with fewest dropped calls. I was dumb and believed them so I switched. They lied. I had 50X better coverage with Verizon than I did with Cingular in this area. Around 25 dropped calls a day. With Verizon I only had 1 dropped call a month!

While I am in sight of a tower(2 or 3 blocks away), I often have to go outside into the street to get a decent signal. Cingular's answer was that the towers are "directional", not only am I in sight, but must be on the right side of the tower. That is either a lie, or the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.

The service TOTalty sucks, I gave a Straight Talk phone that gets 5 bars. My $300 Sprint phone gets 0. Sprint needs to get more towers.

Sprint is FULL bars in Red Bluff. Works everywhere BUT Rancho Tehama.

Verizon Wireless is amazing. I don't know how they manage to cover 99% of the USA... but however they do it... i love them for that. I have the new voyager... never dropped a call yet. I have nearly full bars everywhere... i had to deal with ATT fewest (most) dropped calls... .they lie. I have never had a dropped call with verizon... and I never could get a call to go through with ATT. You gotta be able to place a call before you could drop it... couldn't even place a call with ATT... just about anywhere I went. I had the apple iPhone... back then... i hated the phone and the customer service.

I love Verizon I get service almost everywhere here in town... but most cell phone carriers get service through town here

Verizon tries hard to improve this area. There is a tower around a half mile from location. The towers should provide perfect coverage on one tower for 6-7 miles. This is a rural are is why.
