phone oscillates between 0 and 1 bar at home; sometimes goes straight to voice mail, other times it rings and then immediately drops the call as soon as it's answered. Coverage poor throughout south Redlands, near (not in) the hills.

No real problems other than a lack of 3G coverage (not that my phone can take advanteage). No real drop out problems. Great customer service when I do find problems.

There are only a couple of spots in the house where we can even use the phone and it still drops the call sometimes. Outside is better, but still hit and miss.

In the hill area of South Redlands (North of Redlands Country Club and South of Prospect park). Very poor reception with Sprint. Basically have to be outside the house to get any reception. According to neighbours... issues with all major carriers in this area.

Excellent Reception in most areas. I use a Panasonic Versio, which works great. TDMA is being phased out by AT&T (Now cingular), because it is "old technology". Cingular / AT&T GSM does not have as much coverage yet, according to a salesmen at the San Bernardino AT&T store (Near san bernardino auto center).

Sprint is HORRIABLE! No service in most of Loma Linda / Redlands area. Stick to Verizon or Cingular. Aviod Virgin Mobile, which uses Sprint towers.

Any phone has to be sitting on a window to get some reception. As soon as you pick it up, it'll go dead.

Terrible Reception. No bars inside my workplace. That's where I need it. Went back to TDMA with no problems. Contract up in May with AT&T, switching to Verizon. Yeah, GSM might take a while to get the bugs out. Trouble is, my money's good.... why isn't the service?
