I've had Sprint for about 2 years and I used to live in Sacramento where I also had great coverage. I moved to Richmond about 8 months ago and unbelievably lost my 4g coverage, but still have good 3g. I'm happy with Sprint and I can't wait to get an Iphone 4s. You can't beat the price and the coverage is great just about everywhere. The only bad I would have to say is that I lost my 4g coverage and that shocked me because this is the Bay Area. For the money you get the best service and value unlimited and it ain't sketchy like Metro or ATT.

No problems whatsoever... getting antsy and want to switch (verizon phones aren't that great), but all the reviews of bad service with other providers are scaring me to stay with the boring Verizon phones.

During calls, reception jumps between 2 and 4 bars, making for a choppy conversation. Until fairly recently I had clear reception here. I bought my phone from AT&T before they merged with Cingular.

I get great reception at home, but only a few blocks south, near the border between El Cerrito and Richond up to about Garvin, there's a huge dead spot with absolutely no reception.

Very bad reception. I must be near a window or outside. Notice many neighbors with the same issues. Seriously considering another carrier. Verizon or Sprint. Wonder who has better coverage out here.

Reception spotty. One never has to say "Goodbye". There is even a Sprint tower on a building nearby, but Verizon's latest PRL forces the phone to the NEXT tower, which is probably in Bangkok. The 710 works better that the V60 that I used to use.

T-moble states they are not responsible for any 'gap" in service. We have not been able to receive service for 1 month [May 22] after 2+years for fairly good service. If I drive about 1 mile from Brickyard Cove / Pt. Richmond I do recieve service. I, unfortunately lost my phone in April and as a result of buying a new Razor3 phone now am locked in to a 2 year contract! The service folks are morons... a great racket. Must talk with service support; they send you to the RAXOR3 guys_you take out the battery, read the SIMM number; They send out a service guy in 3 days. Nothing happens. You call back... Talk to Remove your battery, give the SIM number, get passed to etc. They will not provide an answer or agree to identify / fix the problem or release us from the contract. Two other familes on my block have had to change from T-Mobile to Verizon in the last month or so for this problem. They had no problem with the contract because they had not lost a phone recently. HORRIBLE SERVICE! NO SERVICE!

I usually have no reception in my home. On occasion a call will come through and I can hear the caller but the caller can not hear me. If I stand near my kitchen window it helps sometimes and I'm able to hold a quick conversation. Some days I'm able to talk when I'm upstairs (surprisingly to me). The reception behaves as if it is blocked on most days but every now and then the airwaves are free. There have been few occasions when I sat at my computer and held full conversations with no reception problems. (I don't understand it either!)
