No real problems. ATT&T has always corrected any discrepencies on the bill. Have used them for 6 years now, outside of urban areas reception can be hit and miss.

I have the worst reception with ATT. I haven't always had such horrible reception, it's never been great but the problems I have experienced this week have made me decide to find a different carrier. I emailed their customer service and basically was told they don't guarantee 100% good reception... no kidding. Maybe I shouldn't guarantee 100% payment every month. If you are looking for a cell phone carrier and you live in Riverside I strongly suggest you find a carrier other than ATT. Their service stinks.

Almost no reception with AT&T. A black hole in a city of 350,000. No obstructions. Cell tower engineer can't believe / has never seen reception so bad!0-1 bars.

Nokia 6985 and AT&T / Cingular reception is really bad at our house!

Great service around UCR. No more dropped calls coming down watkins ave to UCR. Used to have terrible service with Verizon and T-mobile. I can't believe they have still not addressed the issue around a popular university? Verizon promised me that they were installing a new tower at UCR for over a year until my contract expired.

Worst Ever! I honestly drop 70% of calls when standing still, 100% if I take the slightest step in any direction. Horrible. Stay away if you live anywhere near Thundersky Park...

Don't know if its a coincidence, but when AT&T took over Cingular, custormer is terrible. 5 to 6 dropped callw a day. The reception is okay at home, but get no reception in my office. Have to step outside to receive or make a call. Charges on my bill for items I never asked for. Charges for additional plan when we were on family plan. Lies by the sales people about what the plan covered. Was told by customer service it was my word versus the salesmen. Paid the buyout of 4 contracts and dumped AT&T after 15 years as a customer. 1 month with Verizon and no problems yet. Still early, but I'm hoping

I'm lucky if I get three bars of reception with this phone in my apartment. Most of the time when I answer my phone I can't hear the person on the other end of the line, so I have to try calling them back, which can sometimes be a chore. Come on AT&T, get with the program!

i live on a small hill with other hills close by and I still get very good reception.Everywere I go I get good singal and none of the calls that I have made have never been dropped.i can make calls inside the house without going outside.i have had Cingular for 3 yrs and there service is pretty good

0-2 bars on a good day, no reception inside, every call is dropped. No tower in the area.

Coverage blows by the Orange Terrace Park and towards the new Grove Church going in. Sometimes only 2 bars when I am in my house and gets better a bit near Wood Rd then drops off again. I have pray as you go literally. My son has just as bad coverage with Cingular. Downtown by Galleria coverage is spotty at best. Hey Cingular haven't you seen the smoke signals yet?

In my apartment, I sometimes get dropped calls, the reception will be okay often, but then will inexplicably have zero bars at times. Also there are areas a few blocks near my apartment when I'm driving that are dead. Also, in San Bernardino, reception isn't too great inside the building I work in downtown. And getting on the 10-West right before the merge with the 215-South isn't too good either. I've sometimes made calls to people and left messages as I'm leaving the office on that section of the 10, and I've been told that the messages I left were just static. Otherwise, haven't had too many problems with Cingular or this phone. I've been with them for two years and have used this phone in San Francisco, Richmond, VA, San Diego, and Las Vegas.

The reception along Van Buren between the 215 freeway and the 60 freeway is not good. Another major artery street and a booming area of growth that Cingular needs to take care of this soon. I get dropped calls all over Riverside it's starting to make me think about canceling my contract.

This area really sucks. Starting near the Chicago / Central / Allessandro intersection there is practically no service here and the little that there is it's so choppy that it's not worth talking until you get within a couple miles of the 215 freeway. This is probably the newest major artery street in Riverside and you would think that Cingular would jump on this area with a tower or three. I just hope that nothing happens to me on this street while driving because I'll need a smoke signal to call out.

I it really wierd, reception in this area is horrible. I can be on the phone talking with really good reception, but once I hit this area it starts getting really poor. Then once I pull into my driveway, my call drops. I really don't understand why it's this area in Riverside.

Within 2 miles of Chicago Ave and Canyon Crest there is absolutely NO reception, my girlfriend had to pay a $150 termination fee because her new Cingular service does not work AT ALL where she lives in that area. Plus the reception is poor in general but improved a little with a $7 signal booster.
