my Verizon phone will ring in west rosamond, tell me who is calling, and them immediately hang up when I try to answer. When I dial out it will ring on their end and as soon as they pick up it hangs up. Only happens here. I cannot make one call if I needed to. This is a hugeeeeee complaint. What happens if I need 911? Only phone I have. Strangely, I use my phone to get internet on my computer and that works fine... ... go figure. I rate my service a -10

Had no problems with Cingular until they were taken over by AT&T. Now I have the same problems that I use to have when I had AT&T before Cingular. I'm pissed and so is the wife and many of my friends that are having the same problem with the "NEW AT&T"... LOL. Leaving them to go to a more reliable provider. Was able to use in my house with full bars before the AT&T / Cingular merger, but now only get 1 if at all.

Constantly hopping back and forth between digital and analog. Signal strength pathetic. TracFone seems to work better than VerizonWireless.

My wife and I both have the same phones, and we both get bad reception at my house in rural west Rosamond with Cingular service. Good reception while in town though.

Verizon continues to argue that their phones work in West Rosamond. I have service on the East side but not near my home (Cagle and Rosamond Blvd). I have at least 15 other phone numbers of friends and neighbors that don't work. I have a statement from a Verizon employee who works in the Palmdale store and says they don't even sell to people living on the West side of Rosamond (she happens to live here). There is an airplane tower that causes interference. Verizon says they have a tower within 5 miles and it works great (no it does not). They refuse to come out here to the residence to verify anything, they refuse to waive their contract fee because they can't provide the service. To me now it is the principal of paying them for services they can't provide - not the small balance. After all the years with them they are horrible. I changed to Cingular and it works fine here. My cell was my primary phone but without it working and living in a rural area I had to get a hard line phone and service. Verizon sucks.
