In the 900 block of Rio Robles near Rio Linda, CA. This is a new subdivision and Rio Robles might not be on any maps at present. Reception was unuseable inside or outside.
Usuall 4 or 5 bars, occasionally 3. I am very happy with Cingular. I switched over from Verizon a year ago, because in the prioryear I had alot of trouble with disconnected calls when in this neighborhood. Both companies have good phone support, but IMHO Cingular has better service overall - both with phone usage and with support.
It's somewhat erratic. Occasionally I get one or two bars, but much of the time there is no reception. At my office, ten blocks up Broadway, it's only a little better. I'm looking for a new provider.
In our apartment complex we have barely any reception whatsoever. Every once in a while a call will come through, but if I take it call it either drops the call or I can only hear one of ever three or so words. Both me and my gal have RAZRs, and I have tried a Samsung phone as well, but to no avail. It's terrible.
One bar at home. Drop calls all the time, if I even get them. Half a mile in any direction... 3 bars or more. Typical routine is to drive away from my house and find that I have 3 voicemails. Even in three bar zones, I've been told that every fourth word is cut out. Don't get Cingular service around here! I complained about service and they told me that they don't gurantee "conectivity".
