Great reception in my apartment near the Folsom and Watt, and Folsom and Julliard intersections. Great reception going just about everywhere in Sacramento. Verizon has been amazing in reliability and reception everywhere, even in remote locals (anyone ever hear of Georgetown? I get reception out there!). In Sac, I've gotten reception all up and down Howe, Watt, and Arden. All along 50, I-5, and 80. I just wish Verizon had the iPhone 3GS, or at least a better selection of phones.
we have 2 of these phones have never lost call or signal in or out of our house have had t mobile since9 / 05 service has been beyond what we had hoped for
It's all about the phone. I have an old AT&T Nokia phone. But it usually gets better reception than most of my friends newer phones. And we're both on Cingular now.
Four bars in my house, and good reception (2-3 bars) just about everywhere I've ever been in Sacramento. Switched off of Cingular two years ago because two different phone models couldn't make or receive calls inside my house, but had to go outside to get 1 or 2 bars if I was lucky. My mother still has cingular, and the AT&T merger hasn't done anything for us.
Over the years I have had service from most of the majaor carriers. Of those, Sprint (3-4 Bars) and Verizon (5 Bars) are the only ones that work within my house. The Verizon service is so good within my home that it is usually the phone of choice over the land carrier.
