	This has to be the worst cell phone provider so far. I have had Verizion and Nextel, and they had much better reception. This phone drops my calls and shows that I have full reception on the phone. I can't get calls to my house or various parts of town. It's totally unreliable and a pain. Forget about have reception in the Monterey area, Fort Ord, Marina, Seaside, Hwy. 1 or 101 south of Salinas. It's insane, some signls would work at times more efficently than this service provider.

	Between my apartment and the nearest cell tower, high power lines seem to block the signal. I had no reception with Sprint PCS. I changed to a phone that uses the lower frequency of their Nextel network and I was able to get a consistent signal. Inside my apartment, I was not able to get a Sprint PCS signal.

	Excellent reception all thoughout this area. Plenty of bars, calls and PTT connect with no problems.

	I have been complaining about our service so Sprint sent me a 'tower'. Even with the tower I get dropped calls all the time. "Signal Failed" is getting to be the norm and it is very frustrating. But, since we are out in the 'boonies' I don't know who to use.

	T-mobile has been improving the service greatly in the past year, and I have had no problems at all in Salinas, Gilroy, Hollister, and Monterey.

	I can see the tower from my window, but can't get more than 1 bar. Dropped calls are frequent. Cellular rep says I'm located too close to the tower, but my prior carrier (NexTel) got 5 bars here.

	Prunedale has always been a tough area for cell phone coverage, but Verizon Wireless is the most consistent of the carriers. I drop a call now and then, but I always get better reception than Cingular, Metro, Nextel, and many others.

	Verizon I have used for several years, and have had very good service with them as travel around California. I have used ATT GSM and Cingular GSM with very poor results (tested jan 2004)
