Terrible reception both indoors and outdoors. Worst yet is that sometimes the connection is one-way, I can hear the other person, but I can't be heard on the other end. On coming back home in Sunnyvale, everything works just fine, thus precluding the possibility of my phone being the culprit.

Terrible coverage. Making and receiving calls is always a struggle. AT&T told me new tower being added on 11 / 28 / 10. My friend thinks San Carlos being located in a valley contributes to bad reception.

Every call drops. This is becoming worse and worse. Only one bar

We're on the west side of Crestview and have been complaining to Verizon for better part of 6 years. I'm reluctant to change as I have several phones on my Verizon plan and it would be a headache to change them all. Verizon keeps telling me they're going to upgrade their tower coverage but, so far, only minor improvement. They also suggested I buy their booster which is $200.

Works most of the time but won't work sometimes for some reason, I'll have full bars until I send a txt message and then I lose most or all reception, this only happens in my bedroom upstairs and late night but this still shouldn't be happening.

We are at 600 feet up looking at the whole bay from Redwood City to San Jose but have VERY POOR coverage. 1-2 Bars with most incoming call fail.. Need a tower that will cover Crestview to Alameda, Brittan above Alameda... I am going to swith to Verison and see if they are any better..

In my home usually reception is fine, but sometimes the signal fades away and the quality is very poor or the call disconnected... unreliable...

Only get reception in specific spots in apartment. naturally don't get any reception in basement. Always frustrated when traveling with Sprint, friends with other carriers manage to get reception in random areas on the road (Yosemite, Ft. Bragg, etc) while we NEVER get reception!

There is NO SIGNAL in my Brittan Heights apt using Verizon. I am about to switch, I tested out other friends phones and both TMobile and SprintPCS have service inside my apt. The drive from Edgewood / 280 to Brittan / Crestview is also very spotty using Verizon. I have notified Verizon and they are checking the area.

Full bars but move to another room and I can loose 3. Signal has improved since beginning of the year.

Lose signal completely from Crestview to just before Alameda. Need to wrap up call and wait for 2 bars - 1 bar means nothing to Cingular

Reception is spotty all the way from 280 (down Edgewood Rd.and up Crestview). Inside Brittan Heights condos, mostly NO reception.

Great reception all over downtown San Carlos, Redwood City and Belmont. No problem whatsoever.

This phone worked fine in my house more than a year) until last week. I guess AT&T converted the TDMA tower to GSM to keep me happy - NOT!
