No Service. Unable to send or receive text messages or phone calls... problem started yesterday at about 10 am.

Cell phone is getting worse and worse

No coverage

When will Verizon get a cell phone tower that will allow us to use our cell phone in this area?

Sometimes when you are up against a hill or high condos like in the Pier Bowl area, reception can be spotty. I got my I Phone activated at the AT&T store at North El Camino Real / Palizada. They are very helpful-Ken and Troy. 10 stars each. For a low tech guy like me they were very instructive and took time to explain. There can be a wait at times, but it is worth the wait.

Switched to Verizon ~9-10 years ago. Used to be solid 5 bars, has been slowly degrading, which I presume is due to utilization caused by expanding population in this community. Still, reception is 3-4 bars except during certain parts of the day. Otherwise, decent voice quality, decent data rate.

T-Mobile coverage here is abysmal, and almost non-existent in our house. On the T-Mobile coverage map, our house is in an area between Moderate and Partner (one step from roaming). T-Mobile should really work on their cell tower coverage or enable VOIP on all their phones as a band-aid.

This is unreal, that a community this large has no ceel phone servce.

I have used Cingular for 8 years and no problems. I purchased a home in Talega and now I can't use my cell phone.

Had another service, rated in 2006... porting to Sprint. Ported one so far, and we have reception inside. Three bars inside means we drop a land line from the other carrier - we have two. Only problem is that you have to take Sprint's phones, they say. I did but just to get started... but it's worth it to have a cell phone and drop the land lines - I even got reception in the garage - 2 bars. I can get reception in the kitchen, the hallways, the bedrooms and bathrooms... And I was told by the other carrier that the lack of coverage was due to the type of structure / material used to construct. Further down by Mingee's, Starbucks and Albertson's, 5 bars. So overall, this is the coverage I've been looking for.

T-Mobile service works great - no problems in this area, however my Nokia works better than my samsung

verizon used to be great here. In the last two years it has been gettin progresivly worse. I now get dropped at he police station and also on Del mar steet. I never got dropped in those areas before. It isn't just my phone my friends with Verizon in the So. county say the same thing. Maybe it's all of the videos etc. that share the lines.

No reception from halfway up Hermosa from the freeway all the way through the Reserve until coming out the other side on Camino de los mares - in the Reserve I have zero reception and can only get some reception in 2 upstairs rooms of my house. As far as I know, nobody gets reception in here.

(with GSM) On Pico, at and before La Pata: Five bars! Great job! Full reception in Walmart, Albertsons on E. Pico at shopping plaza, back to the H.S., EZ Lube, 7 Eleven. Excellent up and down El Camino, no issues. No complaints before Pico and La Pata. On E. Pico, past La Pata at Camino La Pedriza: Bad. Poor to zero reception in doors. No one that has visited us with Sprint, T.Mo, AT&T / Cing, Veriz, whatever service or model, they don't get reception indoors - maybe one bar if you stand in a corner with your face to the wall. Outdoors, 2 bars. If there is no tower here, it would be nice to have one. We could drop the landlines.

Verizon has been promising to improve reception in this area for about 8 years and has never done anything. No service in the whole area.

T-mobile has little to no reception throughout south OC. You would think the only freeway through town (I5) would have great reception, but it doesn't. My calls drop so much, that I'm about to throw my phone out my car's window one day... so watch out!

Never had any problems with Sprint in San Clemente. Good Service

There are a lot of people who I'm sure need this service.

I'll sometimes see 1 bar. If I place a call, it will soon drop however.
