Just moved here from Carmel Mountain Ranch where I had no problems at all. Now, NO cell phone service at all in my new house with my iPhone, spoty at best service with my wifes LG phone. Called AT&T to let them know and they told me they would check it out. Not very excited about there answer or service because they also let me know that I wouldn't hear back from them either. Had to keep my landline becuase this phone doesn't work at all... .

I've had an AT&T work phone for 1.5 years and most of the time have no service at all when at home- can't get my emails, send texts or get phone calls. I also have a Verizon phone which gets perfect service here.

Today I learned that AT&T only has one "data" tower serving this zip code. AT&T told me so. They also told me it isn't working right now, and that's why I can't use the data features - ALL the data features - on my phone. They don't know when it will be fixed. Guess it's time to move on - AT&T - You're FIRED!

Frequent dropped calls, only 1 bar, sometimes my voice echoes back into the phone, it really stinks! Another customer on Jackdaw has the same problem. They need to add more towers. They are being ridiculous! I LOVE my iPhone and am really bummed that the recpetion is so poor.

Years ago while living in Mission Valley my carrier was AT&T. I switched to Cingular after no longer wanting to deal with the dropped calls and horrible reception and the difference was amazing--night and day! When I moved to University Heights Cingular service was still outstanding. THEN AT&T bought up Cingular and somehow within a few months time service went down the toilet. Recently I moved to Fashion Hills area and as with Mission Valley AT&T service is practically non-existent. Love the Cingular roll-over minutes legacy, but will have to find an alternative.

I have often said the iphone kicks ass and AT&T sucks ass. Pardon my language, but really it is amazing that they are blowing this opportunity to be the preeminent carrier. Worse yet, there is a huge AT&T building like a mile away in Hillcrest with enough antennas on top for the NSA. From my home (!) calls get dropped ALL THE TIME.

calls on my cell get dropped constantly when i'm in the house. Have to keep my land line for calls from the house. I don't even bother trying to answer the cell at home, to frustrating also drops calls going up Bernardo Heights Pkwy. and Camino Del Norte Towards Carmel Mountain Rd.

After several (20+) conversations and complaints to AT&T, I'm going to have switch providers. The coverage fluctuates from 4 bars to no bars at any given time of day. Dropped calls are the rule not the exception. Was thinking about a cell signal booster but there are no promises made by manufacturers for success. AT&T's final word was they don't promise coverage in all areas. I'll miss my iphone!
