AT&T 3 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V551	Weak reception at home. Dead spot on the hill near Miramar Overlook Park, coming from Spring Canyon on Scripps Ranch Blvd, until you get close to the I15 on ramps.

AT&T 3 Out of 5 Phone Model: Cheapo Nokia	I get good reception at my home and in the area. The only time I really notice a drop in coverage is when I'm driving on Navajo towards College / Waring and on College towards the 8. My guess is that the Del Cerro hill blocks the reception. I used to work in Ocean Beach, and never had too much of a problem there, and now I work in Kearny Mesa and I'm good there too.

T-Mobile 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: Nokia 3650	Had T mobile and Nokia 3650 for over a year and get excellent reception at home (carmel valley rd / 56) and work (UCSD) and in general all over San Diego, CA, and on various travels. Very happy with customer service as well. All the free phone deals with new activation haven't tempted me to switch to anotherr provider yet because T-Mobile service has been so good.

Sprint 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Samsung SPH-N400	I have had no luck getting reception with a variety of Samsung phones in the Fashion Hills area. Almost 4 years, plenty of promises from Sprint PCS, but zero improvement. Sprint PCS has recommended several phones to combat their poor reception in the area... each one is worse than the last. I see a similar complaint from a Cingular user. Are their any other providers with towers in the area? Anyone had good luck in Fashion Hills?

AT&T Wireless (TDMA) 0 Out of 5	Reception used to be poor to below average. Now that AT&T merged with Cingular, it's zip. Can't even call 611 to renew my time. Maybe that's a sign?

Sprint 3 Out of 5 Phone Model: Samsung SPH-A500	Never had any dropped calls. Hate Sprint though, bad customer service, so I am thinking of switching to Cingluar. Thinking twice after reading the reviews here :o) Verizon maybe?! I don’t know... .
