Great Reception on Adams near the 15. Always have great signal and also constantly Use my aircard to go on the internet with a very fast connection. Perfect
I live in Mission Valley, I am work in La Jolla, I go Downtown often, and visit family and friends in La Mesa, El Cajon, P.B., SDSU area, Rancho Bernardo, Escondido, Torrey Highlands, Chula Vista, North Park, etc. and I don't have any issues. I was considering switching to AT&T just for the iPhone, but I notice than anytime I have a friend with bad service, they usually have AT&T. So I am staying put. Been with them since Airtouch, any drop zones, and there were very few, have been resolved, as far as I can tell. Yeah AT&T and T-Mobile have Sim Cards, but Verizon has Backup Assistant, which over the air, automatically backs up your contacts daily to their webserver, so no matter what, you always have it. Even if you lose your phone, which, if you had a Sim Card in it, you would also lose. Very happy with Verizon. 5 / 5
I had Verizon from 2002 till 2007 and had one dropped call in those years. The sound quality was great, it was like talking on a landline. I got reception everywhere including in three story underground garages. Then the Iphone came out and I had to have it. I purchased it at the end of 2007 and have since dropped about 5 calls and I don’t use the phone portion all that often. The talk quality is horrible and the coverage is average. I do not get reception in that same three story underground garage. It was the same bad quality as when I had Cingular in 2000 / 2001. If I had to relay on my phone for business I would definitely have to go back to Verizon.
Even though I get full reception, there are many times where someone tries to call me and the phone does not ring, and there is no sign of a missed call. Also, voice quality can be choppy, especially at night time.
