We have a condo at the Electra on the 41st fllor facing NW, over 50% of our calls are dropped.

After struggling with dropped calls or no bars at all with AT&T, switched to T-Mobile where for two years have lost no calls. AT&T had the worst customer service saying only they would be adding towers - unsuccessful. Now I learn that AT&T is buying out T-Mobile. Now reading reviews and searching for a new carrier.

For the past 3 days my reception dropped from 2 stars to zero. AT&T Customer Service claimed they are aligning a local cell tower and the problem would resolve in 24 hours. But thus far, no improvement. My neighbor with an iPhone is having the same problem. I have to drive a mile or two to make a call and check VM.

Used T-Mobile for 5 years. Loved them. Recently moved from East Village to Pacific Highway. Zero reception in our building ("No service") with my Treo, and very rarely will I get a single bar outside for about the 1 / 2 mile stretch between Broadway and Laurel. Wife occasionally gets a single bar out on the porch with her Samsung. Looks like we're going to have to switch carriers, which is unfortunate :-(

I get 4 bars regularly inside my apartment.

I can't get past one bar on multiple cell phones. It sucks, but their technician says the area has no problems. First Ave, Banker's Hill

Sprint PCS basically sucks everywhere in San Diego. AVOID!

In my 17 story building reception is always perfect, even while riding the elevator up there is no service interuption.

Poor reception inside 5 story building. Have to hover near window to get any signal.

T-Mobile has great reception even in my 5 floor apartment building. I hardly even have calls dropped.

Up until 2 weeks ago, my reception had been quite good inside the apartment for 2 years. Now, I cannot even make or receive calls at all inside. My street is very spotty, too, suddenly. My coworkers' Sprint PCS phones work great for them, especially inside the hotel where we work, and in the service elevators.

Lots of dropped calls. Sometimes phone doesn't even register a missed call. Voicemails get delayed by hours. Voicemail doesn't always pickup. Bad reception during calls. 3G service is a joke - I have to turn it off in order to get any phone service at all.

I have the iphone on the AT&T network and live in the Balboa park area and I get tons of dropped calls and poor call quality. I'm switching this weekend to Verizon, maybe?

My phone always says "Searching" and many of my calls are dropped. What happened to "Smallest amount of Dropped Calls". Ironic

Just moved from Hillcrest to South Park and get terrible reception in the new location. I need to get out of my Sprint contract ASAP.

I guess my biggest complaint would still be paying for 4G while only 3G is available. Cell phone companies should really start thinking about performance and customer service; it's what killed the US Postal service (performance poor, customer service less than non-existent)

I have dropped calls in and outside my house almost daily. I am so fed up with AT&T. I have called countless times and used their app to submit poor reception reports over a hundred time and no response except that they will update when changes are made. It has been over a year with no improvement. There coverage map shows "best" service in this area. What a crock of lies.

No service in 4044 eagle, 4042 eagle, and homes across street. Reception outside in yards and street is limited and call are constantly dropped. The only network that seems to work here is Verizon and I unfortunately have MAC and IPhones, and an IPad.
