I can't talk in my own home without dropping a call. I've called Sprint, and they cannot do anything to help me. I may have to switch to another provider (I've had Sprint since 1998!).

OH MY GOD! Why did I sign with T-Mobile? I didn't have a good deal with Verizon, but at least I didn't get dropped calls every minute. Can't even walk around the house without loosing a call. I think it's safe to say that T-Mobile has more retail stores in S.F. than they do cell towers. I was in Pt. Reyes the other day and when I did get bars and tried to make a call, I got some message like 'emergency calls only', what's up with that? My friend has Cingular and he had reception just about the whole trip. UGH!

No reception at all. People who call me go straight to voicemail. The only good thing about Verizon is full reception inside malls, restaurants and buildings. Had to switch to T-Mobile and altho I finally get reception at home, there is no reception inside of buildings and restaurants! what a headache...

Good reception on Twin Peaks using Verizon. I'm right below the viewing platform, and across the street from the Rooftop elementary school. I generally get pretty good reception almost anywhere in SF. The reception is also really good the whole way down Hwy. 101 from SF to Mountain View

I have had Sprint for over 10 years now. About 4 months ago, my phone started dropping every call. I got so fed up with it, that I considered changing services. I called Sprint and they looked up my account. They said that they could update my telephone. I called back in a half hour and they gave me a number to call. My phone was updated and has NOT dropped a call ever since. I'm keeping my Sprint. I didn't even know that you could have your phone updated. If your phone is dropping calls, call customer service and Sprint will help you out.
