No reception at all in my apartment, or at best calls are dropped after a few moments. Reception is patchy on 20th between Guerrero and Dolores, and even on Guerrero between 19th and 20th. There's no reason I should have to walk a block and a half to have an uninterrupted conversation, without being dropped or cut off. Had a Sanyo phone prior to the Blackberry, and had similar problems.

I need to lean very close to my window to get 2 bars so I can talk. My social life is dwindling fast! I also get calls dropped when I'm in the middle of booking tickets and am put on hold. Not fun.

Very poor reception in house and calls go in and out or drop completely. Outside apartment I only get Edge, no 3G.

The crest of this hill always drops calls as you crest the crest. Even though the service signals pretends to indicate full strength on either side.

I have a clear view of Twin Peaks where there is allegedly an AT&T mast... but alas... .a swirling 1 bar reception to no 0 bar reception. I'm unsure if it's my fancy iphone or my lead lined house? come AT&T sort it out?!

Reception is appalling here; it typically varies between 1 and 2 bars and often drops totally. I was told by AT&T that my cellphone was the problem since it is unlocked. I believe this is simply part of the usual misinformation campaign of network providers.

Signed up for AT&T with a spiffy LG Shine, had awesome service the first day, then I could hardly make any calls anywhere in the Mission. Guy at Best Buy said it was the phone, it wasnt, tried a Sony Erickson580 and had the same terrible reception. Im going back to Verizon.

ATT&T finally admitted that they sold several of their towers to TMobile in this area. As a result AT&T service is horrible in this area of the city. They have no current plans to address the problem.

Aweful reception. If I do get one bar it usually drops my call eventually. Can only stand in one place in my apartment.
