Very poor reception in this area. No signal or dropped calls driving starting from San Felipe on Yerba Buena towards 101.

I have had my Nextel phone for almost 6 months so far it only dropped 3 calls. Sometimes I get bad reception in my house which can be frustrating! I had Metro for 3 years had great reception the only thing was I had no service past Sacramento. As for local only Metro is the best for out of state Nextel

Nextel Willow Glen, parts of 280, 101 and 880 - Horrible!

Pretty good reception on the whole with Nextel around here, but occasional break-ups and choppiness inside my apartment... better call quality outside.

It was pretty good, but in the last month or so the signal has dropped. The phone will only work in certain places. Sometimes the network is busy.

Everywhere I go I get great reception. I think I may have to switch to Verizon because of costs. Nextel is pretty expensive, especially when you have 4 lines on it. But coverage wise I get better coverage then anyone I know. In places where it is dead to all other carriers I have full reception. And I make great phone calls on just one bar of signal.

Great reception. No problems within 5 miles of here either. No complaints so far.

Nextel phoes have decent reception. At least you do not get dropped calls like T-Mobile. The only place you don't get reception at for the Nextel phone under steel sturctures that are underground.
