Very poor reception on campus, in or out of buildings. Verzion seens to work well, may have to switch.

0-1 bar dropped calls, no light of sight obstruction.

In 6 years have never been able to use cell phone in home. 1 bar-0 bar Drop calls every time. Works spradically around 3 block area.

Man they still suck. You would think that they should have impreved over the last couple of years. Going back to Cingular

Very poor (unusable) reception indoors. Occasional dropped calls outdoors.

Never get reception inside the house. I have to take all my calls and go about 50 feet in front of house to get 1 bar. No reception in the backyard t all. when I get lucky and connect, the call is soon dropped. T-Mobile sucks in this area. There can be nothing worse!

Even when the phone show 2 bars after the connection happens, the bars go away... It was much better at the end of 2004.

I'm on T-Mobile but my phone always displays "Cingular". I can talk just fine but a co-worker with a Palm Treo 600 on Cingular has to go outside to get acceptable reception.

Lot's of dead spots, was ATT WS now Cingular. I have original TDMA service, and it seems to have gotten worse with Cingular taking over.

Follow-up on message posted 4 / 24 / 05 below. Don't know what Verizon did, but I now have great reception... even inside the house.

Frustrating commute to work when there's no reception on this road.

Reception is good most of the time yet can vary.

Reception suddenly drops to zero and calls get dropped occasionally, but 4-bar reception always comes back within a few seconds.

Very Poor reception, changing.. wife has Sprint and gets a full signal. Sometimes it is poor, but usually no reception:(

I didn't even get to start the test. It already failed even before I started. Tried to call customer service through cell phone, did not even go through. Call drop #1, Call drop #2, Call drop #3... Oh finally... "Spring PCS - something, may I help you?" ummm... call drop #4!

Most of the time I get 2 bars. But many times throughout the day, my phone will lose coverage and go into network search.

Spotty reception, at best. Have to drive down to middle of Delta Rd.to get decent reception. Also no reception along Verona / Yerba Buena till EVC...

It allways works perfectly... reception seems to vary though

Just moved from another state to south San Jose, CA. T-Mobile has no reception. On lucky days, I get 1 bar for a few minutes. Frustrating! I'm going to switch to Cingular (although I hope to God that they fired all AT&T wireless customer service people)

Everywhere I go I get great reception. I think I may have to switch to Verizon because of costs. Nextel is pretty expensive, especially when you have 4 lines on it. But coverage wise I get better coverage then anyone I know. In places where it is dead to all other carriers I have full reception. And I make great phone calls on just one bar of signal.
