Always full bars whereever I go. Compared it to 4 other companies with my family. Verizon is the only company that gets the best reception nationwide when we traveled.

TDMA used to be very good all around. Over the last 2 years and since ATT is only promoting there GSM, the TDMA service is horrible now. The only suggestion from ATT Wireless was to try a GSM phone for where I live (even worse). I'm thinking of switching to Verizon.

Superb reception (full bar) around school zone and major Berryssa's intersections. Only so-so at home w/ 1 or 3 bars. Despite decent reception around the house, all calls come in quite clear. Recently, I migrated from AT&T GSM (with a Nokia) to T-Mobile, and T-Mobile seems to be far better than AT&T with the same reception. At least haven't experienced choppy calls like AT&T had and its annoying fade-away connections. I am able to use handfree, speaker feature on V600 with no static problem. And with full reception, the speaker amplifies other end crystally clear, just like speaking on your regular phone.

Verizon known to be better than any other service. I get full bars around my area when its a dead spot with other services especially inside the house. Cingular doesn't work in this major busy area what so ever.

AT&T (TDMA) reception is virtually non-existent in this area. I actually forgot how many bars denoted full strength. AT&T were entirely unhelpful... until a small claims court filing brought about a miraculous waiver of the early termination penalty and a refund of several months' charges.

Nextel phoes have decent reception. At least you do not get dropped calls like T-Mobile. The only place you don't get reception at for the Nextel phone under steel sturctures that are underground.

Swiss cheese coverage. Small spikes of great reception in tiny areas, in others, one to two bars. 80% of time, zero signal.
