Have never had a problem with my Alltel phone which I had when I moved here four years ago. Still get excellent reception. I think they have now merged with Verizon and are using their towers.
We just moved to the top of communications hill and our T-Mobile service works just fine, not problems. HOwever, people with At&T that come visit can never find a signal, ever.
No reception in the area. Sometimes it will appear as full bar but as soon as a call comes it or as we are approach this area, the call got dropped immediately. Not able to connect to the voicemail because of the incredibly poor reception. Had filed a complain with California Utilities Commission about the issue but the service has not been improved at all.
Reception very spotty in the majority of areas in the Bay Area. San Jose has to be the worst, I try not to take any calls while on the 101, 87, 880 forget how about I try not to take calls on all the freeways when in San Jose, AT&T is marginal at best. AT&T knows this because they often offer to pay $20 to $30 for your troubles. I got a great phone but horrible service... That SUCKS
No RELIABLE coverage. Sometimes enough signal to "ring" but unable to talk. New tower promised 2 yrs ago... BS. Reliability is close to zero as you cross Piedmont Rd into the foothills.
No reception would be a better description. It just does not work within the house. Period. I wish they spent more money improving coverage than lying to you about their fantastic "five bars".
