At&t wireless is a JOKE ! At best, I get 2 bars of signal strength. The rest of the time, my phone is searching for a signal. Since I am close to the bart station, everytime the bart train passes and I am talking on my cell phone..automatic drop call. If I'm trying to make a call when the bart train passes, 0 signal strength. I have to literally wait until all the trains pass before I can successfully make a call. It's very annoying, I lived here 8+ yrs, and there's no improvement. AT&T needs to address this issue andadd a tower in this area. So far, AT&T is #1 is dropped calls in the 94577 area !

2 bars - and calls drop with the Fatal No Service. There is a tower at 1835 Lewelling Bl but it doesn't use AT&T

1-2 bars - often unusable, especially in house

I never have reception in our house with the Samsung phone. My husband has the Nokia and he sometimes have reception. We are still with ATT and will change by July to Verizon. I have a lot of minutes with ATT because I can't use my phone, so I'm not going to resign with them just to rollover minutes that I want to use in the first place.

Previously with AT&T and Nokia phone, reception in house was perfect. After merger with Cingular, dropped to poor. Just signed with Cingular and new phone, and reception in and around house is still poor. Cingular employees in stores and on phone, however, have been excellent.

Three bars inside the house and four outside. Once in awhile the phone does have to go analog for reception.

I can't place or receive calls inside apt. without going outside. I can receive txt messages, but cannot send from inside. Signal strength on phone has been 3, 4 and 5 bars at times and I still couldn't place a call without driving to Creekside shopping center before I had reception. I'm extremely frustrated and unhappy.

There is no problem at all with coverage throughout the whole of the Estudillo Estates neighborhood.

AT&T were never honest with me about the TDMA network. I called in for 2 years and complained. They tried to sell me the Motorola V60 (another TDMA) and that phone was even worse. I had to go outside on my patio to make calls. I ran my phone bill up with long-distance calls on the land line. I just switched over to Cingular (GSM) last week. I was able to switch a few weeks before my contract was up because of the merger. I can make calls anywhere in my apartment now! I have had calls drop off in Berkeley at my job a few times. Oh and don't even try to get through to an AT&T operator. They changed their format and I was stuck in the loop of automation for 15 minutes just to find out my account # when I switched.

Nextel sucks! At time it will show 2 bars, but then after 15 seconds drop to none. It cycles, most of the time can't hear the other side, and it drops a lot.

ATT reception at my home has been below average, but w/ this phone it's poor. Reception at other locations is avg-poor. Lots of dropped calls.
